When is enough, enough? 2 kids, 2 dogs and 2 cats already, then I find these two in the wild. Brother and sister. We're a full house nowadays and I think we've reached the limit. Or does this mean I need two more dogs to even it out? I'm sticking with just 1 wife though.
Anyone need a kitten? or two?

So I missed the cute kitten thing while I was on my first and last cruise ever. Alaska is beautiful, cruise ships - even the best, not for me....
You guys ever wonder about those folks that take the swim pool noodles and put them on the corners of their camper, motor home slide outs? What are they paranoid?!
No, they just have already learned what I got to learn today... The corners on those slide outs are really sharp! And it didn't help that I just found a rattler near the front of my truck (next to the MH), so while I was looking down... yup, ran my head smack dab into the corner of the front slide-out..
Only took an hour and a half for the bleeding to stop :-/ Wife came home and said it looks like a "dent" in my scalp -- what is one more to add to the many dents and head wounds I've had???! Maybe that explains a few things....
The other week we went up to Milton to see our grandson graduate from Milton Academy. Not a special ed facility. The one of two valedictorians gave a speech about pushing through challenges, and he was really good. This twelfth grader give a speech better the most University graduates. Anyway during one summer he was at a sailboating camp. After cooling in the water he got up and got smacked in the forehead by the swinging boom. Next year went back to sailboat camp. This time he got smacked on the side of his head. Back to the hospital. The discussion at the ER was about how many brain cells he was willing to forgo. So the prevailing thought pattern was sailboating wasn't in the best interest. He came up with the use of a helmut to continue his love of the sport. So even really smart people get head wacked. Noodles sound like a good way to save a noodle.
Not my grandson but I think we'll be hearing about Jack Slone in the future. It was an excellent presentation.
Many years ago when I used to referee ice hockey I was working one game as a two man crew. I think it was it was Squirts or Peewees. Not sure any more.
It was the lower skilled kids and as I was back at the blue line and this kid was coming up from behind me and failed to stop and he fell behind me. He took
my feet right out from under me and I sware I floated and then bounced 2 times when my head hit the ice. Had it been now a days I would had a helmet on.
Or even without one I would of gotten a ride or at least a check by the EMTs. I was able to get a sub out after what seemed forever and I left the ice to sit down
I had already started to get tunnel vision on the right side. I had smacked my head on the left back side.
I will say I was one of the first early adopters to a ref waring a helmet after that little incident. BYW did you know at that time the officials were thought of as part
of the playing surface. I have had more than one puck bounced off my body.
Congratulations, Jack! We had no children, but we have Sisters an Brothers that did... Runs the gambit: One is going for her Phd (actually more than one), yet another has Smith-Magenis syndrome, what a crap shoot having kids... Not sure that we should have tried (harder) or not.... Well, we are where we are...

Don't feel bad....we don't have any either..just wasn't in the cards but is the way it was supposed to be in guess. On the noggin bumps...every time I work on ANYTHING I bleed..simple or hard it doesn't matter. I'm so scared I went to the dermatologist and as she was looking me over she made a face and asked what I do for a living....of course I said I work in an office...she just shook her head. On the kittens had the third litter in 3 years in my boat this spring lol.
Les and I had no children together, I inherited two when we got married. When we got together they were in college and graduating HS, so no fathering was appropriate. Although they've been good relationships I know when to step aside and let mom do the guidance. The grandparent thing has been normal.

Kitten photos PLEASE. Might even be willing to take one or two.
This post will be erased in 24 hours, Mission Impossible music in the background.......
I do feel you. My honey and I would have had beautiful children as well...shes said it many times. Her health was the main reason for us. She gets sad about it sometimes. This was where the pups have helped.

First thing I thought of was you....every time we have them actually. When I found these momma was in the process of moving them next door and didn't get pics. These neighbor cats are like rabbits. Very cute kittens they have every time. I'll make sure to get the next set for pics 😎
