Exactly... The rear end is 3.5 inches taller than the front. The leaf springs have a 3 1/2 inch block underneath them that you can either change to a smaller size or remove entirely.
i dont consider rake a rednek look but call it what you want. 2" rake is what i prefer. level doesnt look right imo. especially when you add the slightest bit of weight and now its sqautting like a dog taking a poo. thats just me though

That is why they make airbags !!! Some like rakes some don't.. I prefer having a rake (Nose high)
very few people add airbags. they just tow trailers popping a wheelie. to each their own
That's funny, I don't know a single person with a truck that doesnt have air bags. But I guess all the people I know that have trucks are towing toy haulers out to the desert every weekend. Guess its just a regional thing. Same with the nose down look, you'd get laughed off the road for that here in SoCal.
Air bags must be a regional thing also, Here everyone that tows heavy has their springs reworked to keep it level when towing and keep the stock ride comfort level. I just changed my main leafs with a parabolic main leafs and added 2000 GVW to the truck for less than 350.00 and it rides as good as stock.
So off to the dealership i go today with my truck to see what is still causing my issue of the steering feeling light and sloppy especially at or over 50mph. Another call to BDS and the tech thinks i may have too much positive camber. They did agree to return the kit if Ford can't resolve the issue. Hope that's not the case as i'd be out a bunch of money for labor both from install and removal not to mention having to go out an buy new Fox shocks as there's no way i'd put the factory ones back on.
I mentioned to the dealership about possible issue with adaptive steering as it's night and day difference between under 50 and over 50. So I'll have to wait and see what they come up with.
I'm not sure if this is being considered leveling a truck but all I did was lower the back-end by 1.5 inches. It's not perfectly leveled but it made it much easier to get into the bed using the built-in tailgate steps. This process only requires replacing the rear leaf spring spacers with spacers for a 2016 model Super Duty. Don't need my truck in the clouds and certainly didn't need to spend that much money on a lift kit.
The picture below is borrowed from another member here but is exactly the same truck that I have.
Upon drop off i was already getting a tough time due to the leveling kit. The standard story of this won't be under warranty if there are issues, to which I understand to an extent. If there is an adaptive steering issue not sure how the leveling kit plays into that though.
So i just got a call from a BDS technician who states my steering wheel position sensor needs to be re-calibrated, which he claims can only be done by the dealer and he want the castor changed to 3.25 and 3.85 and that should fix my issue. Waiting to speak with the dealership to relay that information and see what i'm told.

That was my first thought. If you have the adaptive steering it needs to know where it is in the suspension cycle to know how much effort to put in. Its got to be the reason some guys have super twitchy steering and others are rock solid.
I like the KISS principle. I don't want a computer playing with my feeling with the road.
