I don't really see how it would matter as I understand it the AS is mostly speed dependant .
i have adaptive steering. after my carli 2.5" kit, the steering felt a little "light", minimally noticeable though. I installed the carli 2* caster shims. The steering feels good now, except if the truck is in tow/haul mode. the steering is significantly lighter. take it out of T/H, and the steering firms up.

I just ordered the SPC caster shims noted in the other thread. I hope they correct the right pull I have now

Doesn't that pretty much prove its the adaptive steering? I don't even have my cams in yet and the steering it's nice and tight. TH mode changes the responsiveness of the adaptive steering didn't it? I don't have it so I'm not sure, but I have no steering issues after my lift either.

yes, but really only noticeable in T/H mode. Like I said, the steering was minimally light without the caster adjustment, there just wasn't enough positive caster after the lift

how do the Carli 2.5" spring ride compared to stock? Thanks

I have the Icon springs, to me the trucks rides the same as it did with the stock springs. The difference I notice is in handling, the truck feels a lot more stable with the Icon springs and shocks.

Update on the steering issues: I had the BDS/Fox dual steering stabilizer installed last week. I'm still on the fence whether or not it fully fixed my steering issues. It definantly made the steering stiffer at lower speeds, but I still feel like the truck "walks" some at higher speeds when you hit a bump in the road. Also, I noticed that the steering wheel doesn't return to center when you turn it. I guess the added stabilizers are causing resistance. I guess the next thing I will try is either an adjustable track bar or drop bracket and see if that helps.

i am wondering about this too and will need to decide which route to take by next. Any input is much appreciated. I'm looking for a full 2.5". Of lift and the best ride possible. Softest smoothest

good deal. Appreciate it. Did the Icons lift it a full 2.5" and level it off?

Has anyone left the front end alone and just brought the rear end down a bit? I really don't need to level the front, and I tow as well, so I really don't want a pre-runner style front rake.

What I am really interested in is upgraded shocks and some sort of spring solution like the carli add a packs to improve the rear end ride when not towing. The roads here suck. Its interesting because large bumps don't seem to be much of an issue, the expansion cracks and undulated roads are killer.

I've done some looking around. The full deaver packs reduce load capacity so those are out... The add a packs look promising, but still seem to raise the back end? Could a smaller block be used with those?

I have the Carli 2.5" springs and absolutely love them!!! My buddy also has a 17, and he just ordered the same setup as me because he also really liked the new ride characteristics.

Yes truck sits level. The ride is better because the springs and shocks give the truck a more controlled feel, if that makes sense. The truck has less bounce than it did when it was stock, but still rides like a truck not an F150. Cornering is a lot more planted no body roll. This is the third Icon level I've had, had it on my 08 and 12 Super dutys and had good luck with them. If I could only figure out this crazy steering on the 17 truck it would be perfect.

I hAd a icon lift on my 07 outlaw. It was a 4.5'lift. It rode ok for a truck but the shocks squeaked like crazy. Never could get them to warranty them. They did it first day I put them on. I'd stick with carli springs and fox shocks if it were me. I plan on putting on 295s I may not get completely level may keep 1/2'rake
