I tried it yesterday through the Ford website. It does nothing for mine yet.

Maybe we don't see a status until after the build date?
EightySecond,

I receive the exact same error. Easiest way to get updates without continuously bothering your sales rep is to go on the build and price (even probably for a 2016 would work) and then choose "chat with rep" when that option appears. They are more than happy to look up your order for you.

So we should not be concerned with the order numbers? Is there a way to know how many trucks have been ordered? What do we know?

I don't think we have any way to know how many trucks were ordered. Ford has not released that data. You have to remember there are individual retail orders and then the usual dealer orders. There's probably going to be a lot of trucks to make initially.

Since I ordered my truck under my fleet account, I can go into Ford's fleet website to track my truck as a dealer would. I am order #7188 and scheduled for 7/25/16. About 2 weeks ago my order status got changed to "Scheduled" then i checked back yesterday and my order status was "Production" which means they started assembly on it. This can't possibly be true since production of any vehicles doesn't start until mid July. Probably a mistake on the website, just wondering if anyone else's order status is in "Production"

I would say your saleman doesn't know whats going on or doesn't want to deal with it.. I would go to the inventory manager and ask him.

Definitely need to bring your dealership up to date. My dealer didn't think there would be VINs either but per my request I had him check a couple of weeks ago and indeed he found a VIN and build week. He then called me about a week ago without me prodding him and told me the build date was confirmed to be July 27. So your dealer appears to out of the loop or mine is pulling a huge ruse on me. I am betting it's your dealer but time will tell I guess.

Similar issue with my dealership....but I'm not pressuring him too much...lol. Said he has to wait until Monday when the guy that tracks the orders is in. Told him no prob....have a Happy Father's Day! I ordered Retail...priority 10 on April 20th.
