Welp, just checked again tonight,my truck is still in processing! Last time i checked was two weeks ago, i ordered the truck the day they excepted orders in april.. ive checked with the dealer, with ford chat. No one has any answers, while you all have vin's and build dates, the dealer gave me paperwork showing that the truck builds will start in August or September possibly.

I'm in a similar boat... Patience will do us well I keep telling myself. Although now I am debating on changing the bed length. Time may not be on myside...

The builds start any day now, not August. You must have put your order in as a retail order. The dealer stock orders are all getting Vins and build dates now. It does not matter when the truck was ordered, it matters if it was a dealer stock and the dealer priority number for the order.

You can change your order up until Ford "picks up" the order. That is when a vin is assigned. I made changes before this time with no problem. I also work with a competent dealer.(not saying you don't)

I acually ordered two trucks, one is dealer stock and one is retail whichever truck gets here first im takeing and the other truck with have a change of color or cancelled from what the dealership owner tells me..
I'm keeping my 7.3. It's the best I ever had. I hope these new trucks are even better. I do have a feeling there are going to be a lot of 7.3s on the market soon.

Same here, no way I would trade in my 7.3. My two black beauties will just hug up beside each other in the garage.

Had the 7.3 as well with its true diesel sound but I will say the 6.7 in my 2015 dually just keeps impressing me after 38k miles. Just got back from a Kentucky horse show in Lexington an hour ago and the 1200 mile round trip with 32X8X71/2 ft gooseneck with horse and carriage and "stuff" just purely enjoyable. "Easy" drive with all interstate but cruise set at 73-75 mph and still got 11.8 mpg for trip and at times nearly drives itself and almost forget you have the trailer behind you it is so quiet and effortless with its pull. I think you can safely assume the new truck will be even better--if that is possible.

Thanks for the support in the 7.3 to 6.7 transition. I need all the help I can get.
