Yeah I'm sure you'll be able to struggle through driving the new truck you're driving right now.
Is it bad to buy a new vehicle frequently? It helps keep Americans working, I like that. I feel a bit of condescension in your tone. I'm absolutely busting my hump this summer to make this truck happen. I'm working a full-time, 40+ hour job in IT and then working a secondary job operating a small landscaping company putting in probably 20-30 additional hours a week mowing grass, trimming, cleaning up, etc. I don't have weekends to myself and I won't until late September / early October. I've taken on additional jobs to help cover this cost. This fancy dually I ordered is my dream truck. This one I plan to keep for 5-6 years or more. I know some of you guys go 10-15 years...that's great.
I really like my current truck. Styling, in my opinion, is better than the 2017 style. My biggest complaint is that the interior really needs updating...particularly on the XL/XLT style such as I have now. The basic dashboard is the same as 2008, and the monochrome 2-line segmented LCD radio (in use since 2004) is particularly outdated...especially for a vehicle with a $57k window sticker. The door panels are very industrial / work truck-esque, and I cannot wait for the new design which is pretty up to date. The only thing that still looks modern and current is the 4.2" LCD message center.

Anyway, sorry for being excited.
Sorry for the condescending tone. I like to keep Americans working too and spend money on American made stuff as often as I can. And it's none of my business how you spend your money. I'm sure you work hard for it like most of the Super Duty owners I know.
I was just eluding to the point that you're driving a very nice truck right now and while it's exciting to look forward to the new 2017, it's not that big of an update for you as it is for some people. My 2005 F150 has been a stellar truck, but the technology is light years ahead now. The reason I haven't bought a new Super Duty before is because of the interior.
Honestly, I'm happy for all the people getting new Super Duty's. We are all a part of making Ford a great company and pushing them to engineer the new tech and to keep innovating and making trucks better. So carry on man.

Got my VIN last 5 ending 16769. Salesman says the status says "Sub to plant no eta at this time". Not sure what that means besides the order was submitted to KTP.
F-450 Platinum, White Gold, All the gadgets.
Order sheet shows priority 20.
VIN last 5 is 16449.
Says "Scheduled to Week (Week of July 25)".
CAN'T WAIT!
LOL...everyone sure is beating you up on the "Many" trucks listed in your signature thing. My dad and I do something similar. It's not for everyone...but we do New trucks EVERY four years....so the mileage is just at or under 100...and trade in is still fairly good. We both have done the same pattern together since 1999..well it was really 98. 99-02-06-11 (bought in June '10)- and now 17 (stretched this one a bit waiting for the re-style). I do the same with boats but do every 5 instead of 4+....had a used 95..then new 2000-2005-2010-2015. 95 was private sale and all the rest PRIMO condition trade ins. Again, not sure why everyone was beating you up on it...lol. It's all good in the Ford hood....lol
I'm not having any luck either yet but my current dealer is keeping me updated and is an enthusiast like we are and enjoys it.
The dealer that I've tried to use in the past, makes me feel like I'm asking them to go "out of there way" just to get me an update..
