I was referring to other brands of roller rocker arms. I'm going to look into a set when I build a 5.0 stroker for the Nissan.

Yeah, I've been having a discussion with the Explorer crowd on here about possible ways to get an OBDII 5.0L ECU to swap in, since the Nissan is an 04. I've done some research, and I can double my torque and drop the peak RPM down to about 3K from about 4K with the KA-turbo idea.

Also, 4x4 conversion would be easier this route, as I can use a ZF setup, instead of having to find a 96-97 hardbody pickup and using it's trans/tcase.

But, besides Scorpion, who else does these roller rockers?

All the major cam companies offer them.
So do Harland Sharp, Pro-Comp, Proform and others.

I don't know who is respected in Windsor engines.
Opinions run quite hot for 385's.

Opinions also vary for the 335 series. Tim is high on the Scorpions and has used them on many engines. And the reviews online are generally good. However, an FTE'er on the 335 forum says that's the one thing he would change on his 400 - he wouldn't use Scorpions again.

Christmas in June!

Most of the stuff from Tim came in today. I'm still awaiting the Weiand intake, but have all else. Here's a shot of most of what came in today:





Here's a close-up of the 750 CFM Street Demon:





The cam also came in today although it was drop-shipped straight from Comp.






And, this might be a piston.





And I got these things. Could they be the roller lifters?





And there are a few ARP fasteners as well as oil pump drive. And an oil pump, balancer, timing set, gasket set, brass soft plugs and new oil plugs, rings, bearings, and push rods. Looks like next week I'll get to take some of the parts to the machine shop and have them do their thing.
