Eeeeee......... you sure you want to do that? Turbocharging is generally done on smaller, higher-rpm engines... a supercharger maybe for a 460 engine...
The Taurus SHO was fast for it's time 20 years ago but there are 4-cylinder engines out there today what with variable valve timing and whatnot that'll blow the thing away.

It'll be a forged bottom end with H beam rods. Haven't decided what heads I'm going with just yet, Trick Flow has some nice ones for those engines. I don't plan to rev it past 6000, it's a street car still.
Some time you get a chance, there's a guy on YellowBullet has an 01 Cobra with a 466 and a single S475 turbo. Really mild setup, makes 675hp at the tire and I think it was over 800ft lbs on 8 psi lol. He's running E85 though, you guys are lucky there in the states, you can get that stuff lol.
There's no surprise that you can make big numbers with a mildly blown big bore engine.
Watch the real time OBD2 data on a flexfuel vehicle running E85 sometime.
It is an education to see the trim and advance (even when the engine is not optimized for it)
I would love to see what the new Nissan variable compression engines could do with it.
