Of all the crap I did at work today, writing that was the only thing that made me smile. I am still trying to figure out how or why I did it lol.

I know your truck better than your fiance.... I didn't want to overstep my boundaries

It would look beautiful hanging in the garage in a nice cursive font lmao

So how is the garage working out thus far?

Some nice gold leaf cursive font one a black back ground lol.

Very good not much space unfortunately because she is a big gal in a small garage but i ordered some tire dollies so i can wheel it side to side. Right now i can only work on the passenger side in the rear because the drivers side is almost touching the bed so we can walk back and forth to the door entering the back yard still lol. Once those come in and my bed dolly i can really make more progress since i get then get around and not be restricted to one side of the truck

The inside is accessible though on both sides so that's good news, i should be making more progress on the 08 dash soon, i can use the room i put my old dash in during the winter so its warm and i can still paint and stuff if needed.

Very nice. At least you will stay dry and warm. And you can always leave the bed outside if need be.

Would it be possible to rotate the truck 90 degrees in the garage after you have it on dollies? That would give you ample work room

I found something that I think you will find interesting....

Thats cool! I could have used that a a while ago lol.

I could but i will have to figure it out because i need to leave the snow blower and bags of salt up front so the bed will be there the front of the truck currently is. The garage is definitely wider than it is long though so ill do so measuring then move stuff around once she is on wheels. Basically i lost space to work efficiently but gained heat (via space heater) and protection from the elements.

Everything in life is a trade off.... Well keep all this in mind while you are looking for your first house. I got a garage, I just wish I pushed for a bigger garage. And I don't have a lot of space to add one in the back.... so I want to stay in our current house and build our second house. Then I will have an epic garage..... with a lift

I've got the same plan lol move in somewhere we can afford then have our second pretty much permanent house built then sell or rent out the first one when it's done. Up in New Hampshire to where its easier to get a lot of land than down here in Mass.

Hey Monte.

I don't mean to derail your build thread but I have a quick question and was directed your way by scotttahoe.

Here's my question:

Do you know the bolt size and length for the fender well lip?

I'm going to be mounting some makeshift fender flares to pass a safety inspection that is required and Id like to use these existing holes to mount them.

Lol don't worry about derailing we all derail all the time until i post pictures.

Are you referring to the screws that hold the plastic liner to the fender lip? I had two which were 10mm and they were about 1/2" long i reused them for my flares. There may be 3 per side but i only had two one on the front and one in the top of the arch the lower side towards the cabd i just got some self tapping screws and used then to go through an existing hole in the fender that looked like it was for a screw because my dad put mud flaps on it when he owned it which used its own hardware.

Does this answer what your asking? Nice looking truck in the sig btw man!

I got an amazing idea today, does anyone know the diameter of the pre 05 Dana 60 axle tubes?

I believe it is 3.125" for the outside diameter of the Dana 60.

I think they all have the same diameter except for the super 60 that is 3.75" and 1/2" thick walls.
