I'll be pumping out parts soon ive already been running it non stop since last night lol.
Warren this printer is made by XYZprinting this specific one is about $350 if you find it in the right place thhe price on thier site is $500 but i only spent $350 on it which is what my coworker bought it for a few months ago. This is also the second biggets one out of the 6 models they sell so there are several smaller cheaper one not sure what the prices on them are though.
Its really easy to use as well i can do a whole video on part when i decide to print it but basically they use .stl files which is the PDF of the 3D modeling world in a general sense. There are tons of sites with files you can just download and print with no modeling required like phone cases, docks, mugs, cups etc.
Frame is 98% painted i just need to do the hitch and the underside of the crossmember there was too much wet paint for me to get under yesterday lol. I am going to wait to paint the rest of the hitch until i drill the two holes for the ex tank.

Also i found these cable management things i am thinking of printing in different colors to sifgnify OEM wiring from accessory panel or remote starter etc and prevent me from using billions of zipties behind the dash lol.
I think I spot a "Not Your Father's Root Beer" sitting on the frame rail in the second picture!
I'm curious how they would hold up in the heat but its worth a try its ABS plastic and so is the dash so it cant be that bad lol, ill get into it more when i pull the dash again.
Haha yes that stuff is so good, my dad bought 5 six packs this weekend lol. Tastes just like root beer with all the affects of alcohol!
My coworker has a quad copter that he wanted prop gaurds for so that he could fly it in the house or not crash it and break the props so i printed him these.
That's only some of the stuff he has the rest and i have yet to print any truck related parts however i will be fairly soon since i am going to be on reassembly starting tonight lol. I am going to print out some wire guides for my new TV stand as well to keep the rats nest from reforming again.
Any truck ideas?
OH maybe some moutns for my amps! that way i dont need to screw into the floor! i am already goin gto make filler pieces for the Expedition console. an adapter place for the steering column! to fit and for the blinker arm! OMG! so many possibilities now my mind is really going lol.
Damn it's been 11 days since my last update...i need to get moving lol. I am debating about swapping out my bushings now or later but basically everything is bolted up now on the drivers side i just need to torque it all. I am going to try and mount the Ex tank this weekend on Sunday i need to get a new sawzall blade to cut the pieces that need trimming. I am debating about using POR or bedliner on the Skidplate any thoughts?
