I used the day for a 30 miles ride with the truck. It was a sunny but cold and windy day. My dog enjoyed the ride as well. The route was up and down through the hills. The fields are covered with yellow dandelion. Nice few this time of the year. I'll drive the truck to a car show next sunday, my wife will join me, driving the Mustang. After that show, I'll start the replacement of the motor. Hope to accomplish that within the next two weeks. Will keep ya guys up to date. Enjoy the pics.

sorry, was to late to capture the horses on the field to the right :-)
well - now you know why a lot of Germans settled in PA - they felt at home right from the beginning .
I'll put in the original 272 and take out the 239 which was installed when I bought the truck. Got the engine
from Tim McMaster (yblock guy).
Sitting in my truck in my shop pondering life as everyone else sleeps
The plan is to drive into town thia morning for another 30
bags of mulch. I will increase the tire pressure this time before heading out.
Went to a graduation party for a girl that was on my soccer team. She is going to the Naval Academy after a prep year at the Hill School outside of Philly. She lives in what we call Sugar Valley a long narrow valley known for farming. A lot of Amish have moved here. Very beautiful. I hadn't taken the 54 out for a long drive in a while and it was a beautiful day.
On route 80 going east
Heading south in Sugar Valley, near Loganton.
I came home a different way and stopped by an old Mill for a photo op. Dennis, Pinto Plumber, should find this interesting.....
