Good for you Gigger. I prefer, like most people, the 57 and 55's. I would take a nice 56 though if i had the money and couldn't find a nice 55 or 57. Matter of fact my brother and I shared a 56 for several years, many years ago. It was a beater 210 with a 6 cylinder.

Thanks for the picture Wally!

These are pictures driving around in my neighborhood; I live adjacent to the Prescott National Forest (5800 ft altitude).

Hey Ed,
We've got at least one other member up there in Prescott. If you ever see Rob in his beautiful truck or Mustangs give him a wave for me.

Ben:
Thanks for the heads up. We have quit a few car buffs, i.e., geezers here in Prescott; many are retirees from So Cal. We have shows nearly every week during the summer. I've been making the rounds and will mostly likely spot him in his beautiful '48 in the future.

Than for the pics. Very very flat!

How many miles did you drive and how many hours did it take? How'd your truck do?

I wasn't in my truck for these pictures. I was out for a short run the other morning. Storm clouds were rolling in. I thought you guys might enjoy them.

Small town living. Those pictures were taken about 1/4 mile apart from each other.

Abe, it's not as flat as you'd think, more rolling hills. And very empty.

The truck ran great, with the exception of the fuel pump quitting about 500 miles into the trip. Luckily I carry a spare.
Total miles, around 1500...

Glad your trip went well (with the exception of the fuel pump), there is a whole lot of nothing out there if one has a problem.

Had to make a run up to Chicago for some family business and on the run around the south end of Lake Michigan we saw the Oscar Meyer wiener mobile!
