Years ago I worked at a Midas store in Denver. Installed new exhaust and brakes on one of the weinermobiles. Kind of a strange to drive. Would have been more fun cruising the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, where I grew up. :-)
I took my truck out for a drive today. I was working on an old tree house at my in-laws and when my drill battery died I figured I would go for a little cruise.
I hit some gravel roads. I had to keep it 20 mph or lower. Are gravel roads are generally washboards and with no door rubber or anti-rattlers, it gets a bit noise and bouncy.
We had a big soccer high school soccer tournament at our 4 field complex last Saturday. I mowed the fields but our high school maintenance crew lined the fields the next day. But before they did they blew the loose clippings off the fields. So I ended up with a lot of grass clippings between the two fields which are next to each other. We raked them into piles and threw the grass on the back of my truck.
I was out for a nice cruise the other day. Then I realized that I hadn't filled up on fuel for a while. I've been wrestling with my fuel gauge and I still don't have it working. I just got a new gauge in from Mac's so we'll try that. If it actually works then my gauge cluster will actually be full functional!
Had to make a run up to Chicago for some family business and on the run around the south end of Lake Michigan we saw the Oscar Meyer wiener mobile!
Hey we passed that near Portland Maine on I95 just a few weeks ago! Well I can't imagine they have that many of these trucks. Maybe it wasn't the same truck. But seriously how many wiener-mobiles are out there anyway?!
