Do you "get" what she likes to do? Just sayin. My wife hates anything I do even if it's an oil change or checking brakes. Well hates is a little strong but if I mention my truck or car the eyes roll and the arms fold......
Ya I get her deal. I appreciate it what she does and have begun to research it. Same here. Sometimes I get a little kick out of calling out a Outlaw Lariat on the road for it's rareness and such comments are never appreciated. I love this woman to death but my machines have always had a place in my heart
My wife understands the maintenance aspect of owning a truck but when I am personalizing it she just says, "his truck has four tires and I only have two *****." Then when I got the dually she said "his truck has six tires and I still have two *****, how can I compete."She wasn't happy when I said there might be an operation.....

Had to read this and the last two or three posts to the wife. She thought dualwheels66 was hilarious. However she agrees with his wife. She is sometimes a little jealous, says I care more for the truck than her. Well that's just wrong. Ever try spooning with your truck? Just won't work.

I've gotten that one. About me loving the truck more. Well I knew I wasn't the only one! It's to the point for me that I can't even enjoy wrenching. I feel pressured to finish my task. It kinda kills it for me when that happens. Then it becomes a mere job
on MDsuperduties posting about being against diesels with stackers that blow out black smoke I am with him. I can't stand them things. I mean our 84 B2 has a thrush pack on it and our 02 F250 has a banks stinger exhaust but that doesn't make that annoying noise or anything like that. I am not against diesels only the owners whom throw black smoke at your face most of the accidents that I have almost been in was caused because of a diesel truck throwing black smoke at me not being able to see and almost hitting the car in front me. I like stock and lifted trucks but lifted trucks aren't going to haul 20k lbs or more down the road. You try throwing bales of hay in a lifted truck that ain't easy thats why I won't lift my 88 F150 or any of the trucks.

Finished the Tetons and it was great, arrived in Yellowstone and after. Glacier and Tetons it sort of pales in comperrison. Not into all the Geo stuff just would like to see the wild life. There are alot of idots here walking right up to the buffalo and elk even with all the warnings, man this world needs a slight gene pool cleaning. Anyways what a trip so far.
Got to see a 5 grizzles, 4 where at bison kill just in the pines now that was a site. Sat there last night after it was dark and 1 of the grizzles was roaring and it sent chills up spine. The single grizzle we watched swim the river twice and walk/ run the bank and flats. I think it was spoked from the vehicles stopped and watching and yes idots out of thier vehicles trying to get a closer look on a blind hill spot where the bear climbing and not one of them with bear spray.
Between the 3 parks got to see moose, muley deer, antelope, grizzle bear, elk, bison, wolf, fox and other small critters.
When I get back to the laptop and off the phone I' ll give a better report.

That right there is the understatement of the week, and us with an election just around the corner the process can not happen soon enough.
Well lately I have been fixing up my 1988 Ford F150 4x4 getting her fixed up for the road. Also working on the house. Hauled a load of Drywal 12 sheets in the bed 5/8x4x8 and she barely knew it was there. Also been working like crazy to help a friend do a 98 Ranger engine and put it in a 2000 ranger engine. Ahh crazy love my life don't know what I would do if I didn't have one. Oh and trying to work on our Harley.

Been busy traveling, attended 2 RV rallies and the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park SD. We are in AZ now and will be for the rest of the winter except for the month of February, we will be in Mexico with a group of RVers. Hopefully the only work that I will have to do on the truck is change oil
Sounds like a good time Denny! Were starting to get the wind effects from Hurricane Sandy in the Great Lakes...horrible weather! 39* with constant 40 mph winds and gusts up to 60
Getting ready to fluid film the truck and put it away in the next couple weeks. Trying to save this one from the salt attack coming soon. I'm sure I'll have a few romps in the snow with it but it'll be parked most of the winter. If I could find some free storage for my trailer the truck would be in the garage. Maybe next year.
