I like the mesh idea also. My X has bug screen on it now, but it is up against the condenser. It keeps the bugs and leaves out, but offers not rock protection. The mesh would do all of the above plus allow better circulation. Thanks for sharing Denny.
Yes indeed my good man. Drove the truck to work today and the once surprising new found power is kinda boring me lol I'm hoping to have some time this weekend to give you another call.
Started the vacation today for 17 days. Drive to SD rent a class C motorhome then on to Glacier National Park, then drop down to Yellowstone and the Tetons and who knows what in berween. ;-)

Put 500 miles under the belt driving a couple of the byways yesterday and made it into Billing, Mt late last night for some shut eye. Now onto Glacier Nation Park. Looks like day time temps of mid 60s an night time in the low 20s. This rental only has 5.4 in it and sure miss the power of 10.
I love Glacier NP! We honeymooned there, stayerd at Two Medicine CG, had our first bear encounter of the trip. I would love to go back with an RV, we tent camped out of my TDI VW.
Heres my "shoot the breeze" of the day. This is not meant to be a bashing thing but will most definitely come of as one. So today I notice a bunch of diesels, a lot of Dodges, and their super annoying, loud, low pitched "WWHHAAAAAA!!!l exhausts. All of this pointless noise, VERY excessive at times, just reminds me of the kiddie tuner cars with the buzzy exhausts scooting around erratically. Don't get me wrong gas exhausts can be just as annoying but this diesel exhaust thing is just absurd. The other bad part of this is all these contractors, and landscapers aka "mow jockeys" with these stupid exhausts. (I landscape part time) Although I do all my own work if I needed to hire a contractor and he shows up with an annoying diesel exhaust I will most definitely ask him to leave. Where have the days of being professional gone??? Wanna own a diesel, no problem, just act like the rest of the large business who purchase tons of trucks. They have ZERO loud annoying exhausts on their trucks, ZERO lift kits, Etc.... While I'm on the subject, those dual stacks, seriously? Listen if you're pulling the weighted sled at the tractor pulls then fine, but they dont use mufflers. You dont need stacks to free up power to pull youre 6x12 open trailer with two mowers on it. Worst part of this stack thing....I've seen it on GAS trucks! No wonder people in the landscaping & contracting business have a tough time giving a good impression to people.
Phew that was getting out of control quickly!! I've seen modified setups (exhausts/lifts/etc) that look really good and give off a positive impression of a business. But not many.
Yep. Diesels are the new ricers. All we need is a Fast and Furious movie with a bunch of retardedly tuned diesels to officially call them so.
Well my question for other married men or men in serious relationships that won't lead to marriage due to your partner being previously married to a retard for 10 years, does your partner actually support you in your truck's build? Or just you wrenching period? I push my luck with my woman. She simply can't get why I do it.
Do you "get" what she likes to do? Just sayin. My wife hates anything I do even if it's an oil change or checking brakes. Well hates is a little strong but if I mention my truck or car the eyes roll and the arms fold......
I am glad I am not the only one who hates diesels and stacks. I really hate it when I'm at a light and one of those a** holes floors it and nothing but black smoke.

Wow I thought this only happened to me up here in ND. I don't hate diesels as my next truck will be one. Simply too many insecure little tards have gotten hold of em.
