Yesterday I brought our Bronco 2 out trailing to a buddies property and he brought his 04 Chevy 6.0 2500. He couldn't hold up with the loads that he had so our Bronco 2 had to do most of the work sad part is it was in 2wd the whole time.

Here in Casa Grande AZ gas is down to 3.09 
the only problem is our aux tank is full of 3.69 gas but the front tank is ready for about 30 gallon, maybe it will go below 3.00 before we fill it

Amen, we are finally down to 3.40 a gallon here, with diesel still at 4.05 a gallon. Does this mean I can forget the "great" mileage a diesel gets when compared to the gas guzzler?

The mpg saving all depends on how much you drive. I'd think for 50%+ of the diesel owners they don't put on enough miles per year to make an mpg justification of saving money over a gas truck. I also chuckle when people drop $50k+ on a truck (gas or diesel) and talk about saving money..??? Oxymoron??
