Dusted4eva me and my dad have a 73 Harley Ironhead XLCH sportster it is a nice bike but it needs a few things to get running. My dad before this bike had a 2009 Harley Fat Bob that was a really nice bike to bad it was lost in the fire. What did you get looks like a Vstar or Honda. Our bike has a lot of upgrades like a bob tail fender, springer front end and more here is a pic of ours with me on it.

Rode the race type bikes up until before my wedding. 2004 GSXR-600. Way too much fun, and did way too many dumb things. But those bikes pretty much drive themselves they're so well balanced. Maybe eventually get a road bike but there are too many other things requiring my money. Keep the rubber side down and watch out for the morons on the road!
Yes ain't that the truth.
Another two week tour is nearly at it's end. Days off are coming. Going to load up the travel trailer and head to lake for some Walley fishing and kayaking. And can't forget the camp fire smokies and beers.

It's a 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750, Only 2683 kms paid $4500 cdn . Yet to drive it. I'll be picking it up June 3 then the rides begin. , I was looking at Harley, I just don't have the $$ for them. Maybe one day if I don't wreck this bike.
Ya I like the look of it too we still have to add our sissy bar, we are going to get a front brake, we want to get rid of the purple in the engine but not sure yet on that. This Harley we are paying payments to a buddy of ours for a total of $3500 we are almost paid off too. When this is paid off and the 02 F250 is paid off me and my dad want to get him a Fat Bob with the 103 and deck it out and I will ride this bike (my dad doesn't care for the little sportsters but I know this little bored out 1000cc ironhead will keep up and make everybody deaf while doing it if you look those are shorty drag pipes I have heard the bike running before you can't carry a conversation over it at all). My current avatar pic is of a Fat Bob which is what my dad wants.

Finished the MSC several weeks back, got some good riding time in. Even had the wife on for a cruz, Then as meticulous as I am , had to strip er' down for a cleaning.
Driving the V10 E350 about 150-200 miles per day (not with the trailer pictured above). Filling her up 2-4 times per week. Praise God for the company gas card!
don't get into fte or the v10 area much any more then see this thread,
been retired now or should I say semi retired for 6 years. yes guys i'm that old. still have v10 engines in my blood only now they big marine 1250 hp cats inside a 58 foot sport fisherman. when not fishing i'm building hot rods with a close buddy for his customers, one was a write up in the march 2012 issue of hot rod deluxe . crazy build with a mercruiser 3.0 4 bangerwith a custom intake exhaust system backed by a modified to fit s 10 5 speed to a 8.0 ford rear
driving wise I had to down size to a 2013 1.6 ecoboost escape which a year latter still amazes me with 32 mpg runs down the highway to the boat
How do you change out a stud without removing the manifold? I have one broken at the rear pass. side.
you can't as far as I know man! have to pull it apart to do the job, use a machinist straight edge and check for warp age then either have the manifold planed or replace it as if you don't you have a chance that another stud will pop. when those studs pop the manifold warps.
seems ford like every other car truck builder thinks a 8mm stud can do the same job as a 3/8 stud or bolt used to do.
bored again. Just had double surgery 2 weeks ago to reattach the bicep's tendon at both the elbow and shoulder. putting me into lots of down time, esp in prime tuna fishing time.
at any rate just wanted to say hello to a good bunch of guys unlike some in a certain Truck web site I know of where their own rules don't get enforced and foul language very common.
on continuation of the bike talk a few weeks ago we got rid of one of our trucks and got another Harley. 2007 Harley Heritage softail classic 96 bored to 103 stage II with vance and hines true duals and more. Great bike gonna be my dads and I get the 73 Ironhead (which we have been working like crazy on).
Also got a buddy coming over to look at our only chevy I think we might trade for 2 trucks and some cash one a ford the other a chevy but I am not sure on this one.
