Trust me guys it is exactly like I said it is. I called today, to see what time I can get my truck, the guy says, looks like tomorrow. Holy SH....!!!I told him I needed to see the notes the rep took, he told me that was confidential info. I hear everybody saying do this do that, I appreciate all ya'll's support, but I don't know how to fight this, outside of an attorney??? It's clear what happened, or at least what didn't happen to my motor, I'm like ya'll, maybe something is up with Rogers ford, and honestly, I hope it's just them, because I really do love my truck, BUT, if it's Ford, I'm done, but I can find another dealer if Ford does right by this. AND... thanks prince for telling somebody!!??? I need all the help I can get and am very glad I found you guys. Thanks, Randy
I just removed 12 posts, all made today. We're not going to do the same thing to this thread that we did to the last one, the OP Randy deserves better than this. This is about his truck and that's it. Coming on here to bash, troll, or otherwise feed the fire isn't constructive and it doesn't help the OP in any way.
Let's keep this one on topic and hopefully help Randy get some resolution!
I had someone I know run Randy's VIN, and it's not coming anywhere close to matching the information he's posting here. There are NO flags on his VIN and no warranty repairs either. The only thing that shows up is a customer service interaction that was closed and resolved.
So not trying to say it didn't happen, but either Randy posted the wrong VIN or something off the books is going on at that dealer.
Sorry guys, hope you don't mind a gasser guy intruding but like others, I like to dream and this is an interesting development...how soon are those records updated? Is it pretty much instantaneous? I hope it was just the wrong VIN.
Really, really hate to believe any dealer is THAT shady - seems way too easy to prove and awfully hard for Ford to overlook that large a discretion. But if so, damn! Did he sleep w/ the owners wife or something??
So, it looks like you find out some additional info via his VIN?
Regardless, I'm glad (in one sense) to know about this, and really interested to see how it turns out for my fellow Texan. I had to laugh at the idea of driving through water, given that the entire state has been in an "exceptional" drought for most of the past 18 months!
OTOH, I'm really sorry to read about this, and hope Randy can find someone, somewhere to help get it all sorted out. What a mess.

Tom-sorry you had to delete a post or so of mine.
Are you now able to see the info on VIN?
I can get it to you if you need?
I've driven in water where a bulk of the large splash at least reached my front bumper and some even reached the top of the hood.
(I didn't realize how deep the water was when I hit it; famous last words, eh?)
That had to have been 10,000 miles ago and my truck is still problem free.
Honestly if a super duty can't handle that, I'll go back to an Explorer!
...So, the service guy called and told me the warranty would not cover my motor. I went up to find out why, and he told me the guy was only there for a short time, and he didn’t get the notes from the rep, but should have them the next day. I still have not seen the reasoning. I was a bit irate and called the owner an *******. He told me to leave, so I did. Then, the service rep called and told me to find someone else to fix my truck, they were not going to fix it. After a call and kiss back to the owner, they agreed to fix it.

QFT. So how does one get this type of thing to the attention of Ford?
She looks like she has an interesting background...

I'm actually trying to do something about that...give it a couple of days and I hope to hear something.
We've seen our share of trolls but I think Randy is sincere on this one. The information on OASIS is supposed to update immediately, as techs here on FTE have been able to offer advice based on information on OASIS posted the same day. Something seems really wrong here IMHO, but there could be a simple explanation.
Randy, is there any chance you gave us the VIN of another one of your Fords?
I do have another kr just like it. Oohh My truck in the shop in in my company name. It's Corcoat 1 ltd. Maybe that's why it's not lookin right.
What's not looking right isn't so much the owner, but it's service history. As I said before there are no warranty flags or repairs...and this should be present from what you're saying.
I'm not going to make any assumptions, hopefully I'll hear more tomorrow.
5924 is definitely the truck. Sounds fishy. I called a customer service number today. Got a lady that couldn't believe what was happening. Actually acted like she cared. Then she said it was a fleet deal so someone else got on the line. He said it was out of his hands if the rep said it was water intrusion then that's what it was. Good grief!!!!
