What is CARC paint? CARC stands for Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings. These coatings are used extensively on most military vehicles and equipment. These coatings produce a non-porous coat that impedes radioactivity, chemical and biological contaminants from penetrating the coating and the base material. Instead of penetrating the coating, chemicals bead up on the exterior of the surface and are washed off easily.
CARC is required to resist chemical attack from aggressive cleaning detergents used for decontamination of vehicles. In turn, these vehicles can be used over again without the concern of future contaminants along with the security of resisting further chemical attack.
I have some laying around.
iIs made by Sherwin Williams, I plan on talking to them this week and seeing how much it is for more (pints/gallons) and also what colors they can make it in. I have a few other guys interested in using it.
Just curious, why did you decide to keep your swaybar? I barely noticed when I took mine off with stock springs. Especially with the rough country springs and quad shocks. Deavers + current shock setup is a whole other story though..

It looks good, that CARC is somethin else. Does it come in spry paint cans? That would be cool if they had a Ford Blue that i could get and do up my oil pan in it.
I actually brush the CARC on, I spray a quick primer coat and brush two thin coats of CARC on.
Sadly after ordering incorrect bushings and getting blank stares I decided that this isn't something the local parts stores can get. Autozone had the bushing, but it was a special order and was a cheap brand (rubber at that)
SO I placed an Order from RockAuto for a Moog set that comes with new bracket, that seems to have been the snagging point for me. All the bushing I seem to get are too tall for the stock brackets. Naturally Ford has discontinued the bushing as well
So you're saying that taking a few measurements, and putting the Polyurethane bushing to a belt sander is too much?
I wish it was that easy. I can't get then to fit the bracket at all. Too tall and too skinny. So I figure a new bracket/bushing set is the best choice.

Hmmmm....Now that is a horse of a different color now, isn't it?

I have quite a stack of parts piling up for the Bronco. Hope to have time soon to install some of them
The spindle studs are definitely longer then stock, but the Mike's Parts claim it won't interfere in anything. Worst case if they do, then I can cut then down once the spindle is installed.
