Well I took the rear sway bar and links off the truck. i am going to sand the bar down and give it and the brackets a nice coat of paint. Unfortunately I didn't realize there were also bushings holding the bar to the axle, so I may be delayed on installation as I wait for new bushings there.

I did get some new Grade 8 hardware to mount the links.

Here are pics of the old sway bar links. As you can see, they were due to be replaced.

Hmmm, maybe you should paint them with black and white Zebra stripes to make them perform better.

I thought about that. As you nay have noticed Walmart had a Zebra striped blanket for $1.50 so the GF got me that as a gift.

Its only fitting to display all my parts on till they are installed.

Got all the sway bar bracketry off and sanded down. Coated once and gonna let dry overnight then ill put another coat on the bar.

Hopefully I can find a suitable replacement for the swarm bar bushings.

Yup they also have a leopard style and chrome and some other weird things. My little sister wanted me to make her a wallet out of those but the wallet i made didn't work out so well.

Chrome duct tape? Now if you ding up your bumper, you can just duct tape it nd nobod would know the diff

Still waiting for the New sway bar bushings, they said it was delayed due to the holidays.

Here is a bracket after I was done with it. (my hand) Its a bit hard to see, but that's how they coating dries. Ultra Flat Black, and chemical resistant, Same stuff we use on the military Trucks.
