Thanks Gerry, I did check it all over for leaks, all good. I got scared when I jacked it up to remove the stands because all the sudden I had a puddle of fluid! It dripped out from under the front diff where it pooled. Sure gave me a start tho.

Just got Moog Balljoints ordered from Rockauto. Got all four for $120 not a bad deal since normally I see then for about $50 a piece.

It needs a tapping or hammering instead of a steady pulling to get off.

Mine had never been removed and I didn't have any issue, I don't see how one could get stuck. Then again, my Bronco is backwards, when someone tells me it's going to be hard getting off, it usually comes off easy and when they tell me it should come off easy, it's usually a pain..

and man, my Redhead is nice.. don't spend too much on a replacement because you'll probably still eventually go Redhead anyways. With my Redhead + Saginaw, I have one finger steering like a Cadillac but steering that's probably tighter than your Mustang.
I hear you there....good advice.....wish I had listened....I am on my 3rd reman parts store box and it still sucks...the O'reilly reman gear never made it out of the driveway....was bleeding it and it made a loud pop.....like a shotgun...think it snapped a tooth off....returned it....now on my second Advance auto "lifetime" (means once) reman.....I like them for about a week.....then they get sloppy .....on the plus side.....I can change it out in under 45 minutes now...... How much did your readhead cost for the Bronco ?

I can't imagine trying to get parts in Venezuela. There's also a few guys in Australia too. Shipping must be a killer.

I've got a Redhead gear, iirc it was ~$200. Coupled with a Saginaw pump the steering is almost too easy. When (if) I ever swap on an aftermarket steering wheel it will be something with a smaller circumference.

Holy Crap! Mine was only about $85 after the core was taken off. Mine just kinda blew up on me, otherwise I'd have ordered a redhead, still will iff the price is good after the new year. Let us know what you get quoted, shouldn't be much different for me.

I think I paid $260 for mine, then returned the core for $75 but had to pay for return shipping.
