Hey Gigger hows it going? Some prices for certain things aren't bad, i think my big problem is the price for a danged Chilton manual. I bought one when i got a can of Deep Creep and the stupid book was $26
I scored my chiltons manual on ebay for $10. I hope to get the parts all cleaned and ready tomorrow. Maybe install this weekend. Give deep creep a chance to tackle the bolts.
Ya i don't have any friends who like cars besides you guys.... I would have gotten mine online but i was at the store and regretted every time i didn't get one so i figured i might as well spend the money. What do you use to clean your stuff Brett? The only stuff i know of is Engine Brite, i also have used carb cleaner a little but thats for light stuff.
Who cares if it was $26? $50? don't they pay for themselves the first time you repair anything using the info in them? i do think so. Of course, the cheaper the better, yet $26 doesn't seem like much for the wealth of info contained in them.
Though this is true Encho, it just surprises me the price of some things. I still have the first shilton manual from my 82 stang. My parents gave it to me and i don't even have the car but it's worth keeping incase i get another. I also have one for my ranger, why not for the bronco. Plus it is a big help and it covers 76' pickups/broncos to 86 PU/B so i should be good for any other broncos i get in the future.
We have tons of this stuff at work. Its just called engine degrease IIRC. That and elbow grease, a wire brush, and a stiff nylon brush. For the frame and suspension, ill use a orbital sander and/or a a paint stripper on my drill.
btw the ps pressure hose you want is a e150 94-96 5.0 or 5.8
Thanks man! I did get a hose for the pump (for a 94 E series 5.8) I did have to bend the one end a bit, it was a 180 ish and I had to expand it to clear the bracket say 160ish now.
Howdy Everyone
PICTURE TIME!!!
Here is all my shiny cleaned new-ish stuff (except the line which was still in truck feeling neglected for being left out of photo)

Heres a pic of the new pump bolted onto the bracket.

I do have the pulley on and everything is good to go with the set-up, just gotta wait and hopefully tommorow I'll be able to actually install the bracket. I have been soaking my current bracket bolts with deep creep every few hours.
