I actually called moog. They told me its just a synthetic grease with "Molly" in it. The guys at Advance helped mr look through every tube they had till we found 2a that specifically listed with Molly. Both were Valvoline. I chooses one and guess what? Is was discontinued so i got the tube for a nickle.
OK, not much new but I did do some research on the Saginaw swap. I took a list of Part numbers to my friendly Advance and we plugged them all in. I got one to come up. It is a Napa part number and their website shows that as the fabled Cardone 20-6244 (custom made 100% bolt on to the stock set-up). So I will wait and see in the morning what comes in. If it is the right one then it shows they have 6 available in their regional warehouse. I'll let you guys know.

Yup, let us know, and also the part numbers to go with it!
OK, well the advance part number didn't work out. But they did help me look and we found that Napa still lists that pump. I went to Napa and inquired. He said that the part number isn't superseded by anything else and it doesn't say that it's discontinued. He is going to call the warehouse to check this morning. Fingers crossed. if not, I'm just gonna have to get a regular replacement.
I gotta tell ya, everyone is buying those Saginaw's new, then spending money on the brackets at a junk yard, buying new hoses.. I think they're just overcomplicating the swap. My local yard sold me some old, ugly, greasy pump, hose and bracket for $30. Dumped the fluid in the pump, put fresh fluid in, bolted it on, reused the hose off of the pump I bought and it's just fine.
I don't think these Saginaw pumps go bad for anything.. and in my experience, these old Ford parts are better than anything you can buy new right now.
Just a suggestion ,start with a used pump + bracket, as most yards will charge you the same for both anyways (big aluminum bracket), you're still gonna need the pulley, put the one from the junkyard in and I'd bet it would be fine.
Oh yeah, I also buy this uh .. green? grease from Autozone that I've been pretty happy with so far, $7 a tube I think.

I wish. There are no local junkyards that let me wander around. And when I ask them for something they just look like a deer in the headlights and say they don't have that vehicle.
However, if you happen to go to your local junkyard sometime and see this bracket with/without a pump. I'd be willing to buy it off you if you'd ship it to me.
They do that to me here when I ask about Broncos, tis a rare thing to see a Bronco in a junkyard here nowadays.. and the weather here is terrible right now, I wont be going to a junkyard for a while.
I know for a while you could find a pump that looked like the Saginaw at Advanceauto, but I was told by someone that it's lower pressure than the Saginaw and has an aluminum impeller like our stock pumps, but just uses the metal reservoir, which is why I just stuck with the used pump.
It's a great swap anyways, you wont be disappointed.
OK so, Napa called and said that they can't get that pump. i figured, but wanted to try. Anyways, I dug through some racing sites and found this stuff. Anyone heard about it or have any input? They say it'll fit only up to a 92...any idea why?
Got some new parts I'm getting ready to put on. I got a good deal on the sway bar links and the u-joints, got all 3 joints and both links for $62. Not bad in my book.

Just waiting on the new spindle studs from Part's Mike.....
Yes, after searching every shop and trying everything to find a bolt on pump adequate for our trucks, I finally gave up. Then I got to talking with Thumper19 on here and he offered to go check out his local junkyard. He found a couple in great shape so *fingers crossed* when he has a chance to go back next week, ill finally get my Saginaw power steering pump.
