You're correct, it's a typo, should be
12,000 lbs. capacity Rockwell-Timken model FF-903 front axle. I corrected the post.

At one time I could, but last September, I loaned my Master Cross Reference Catalogs that cover the 1980's to Gary Lewis.
Gary returned the parts catalogs on microfiche slides (left lower in pic), but still has the other stuff.
You could contact Gary, or Green Sales, because they'll have these same catalogs.

1973 F750 VIN
HAVE A 1973 F750 -- VIN F75FVQ75161 ALL VIN DECODER SITES ASK FOR A 17 DIGIT VIN BUT I DON'T THINK THEY WERE 17 DIGITS IN 1973 SINCE THIS IS THE VIN ON THE TRUCK AND THE TITLE. HOPE YOU CAN HELP.
ALSO, THE LOCAL PARTS HOUSES THAT I DEAL WITH DON'T HAVE ANY LISTINGS FOR PARTS ON ANY F SERIES TRUCKS LARGER THAN THE F-350. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON PARTS SUPPLIERS? PREFER ONLINE IF POSSIBLE.
THANKS

No 17 digit VIN's until 1981. Try NAPA for parts.
F75 = F750 (gas).
F = 391 4V FT engine.
V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.
Q75161 = 1973.
VIN doesn't tell you much.
Warranty Plate riveted to the left door face below the latch, post a pic of it or type all the info: WB / COLOR / MODEL / BODY / TRANS / AXLE / MAX GVW LBS / DSO

What year is this? The last 6 digits of the VIN could decode to 1968 or 1976.
