Hi there C600! Yep, my truck has the Eaton two speed rear and so i have the little adapter dealy as well. That part of the project has been moved to the back burner temporarily as I am now knee deep in a no-start situation! Thanks for the heads up on possibly getting the adapter from Eaton, though!
Hi, Bill! Happy new year! I'm not sure if you saw my previous post explaining my mistake in asking for 1975 speedometer parts when i meant to type 1957. I hate to ask you to go through all of that again, but it would be great to get this part of my truck working! I'm still looking for the speedo and the adapter that makes it work correctly with a two speed rear end. My current speedo is a 100 MPH unit and the truck is a 1957 not a 1975!!
Thanks as always for all you do for us!
Jeez, I hate it when I do stupid stuff!! I just went back and read my original post from this morning and I realized that I typed "1975" when I MEANT to type "1957"!! UGH!! I should really learn to proof read my posts before submitting them! Anyway, sorry to ask again, but can you look up the speedo and adapter for a 1957 F600? I did get the trucks Id number right earlier...
Scroll down to 17294 and look at B9TF-17294-E in the parts catalog pic. This should be correct for your 1957 F600.
There are 8 available NOS not including the 3 on ebay.
Catalog says "also refer to 17A270" = This is for a C series w/a T/M (Transmatic).
I have a 1970 c700. 361. Looking for a spindle connecting rod. It connects the wheel to the steering piston. I have the service Manuel but can’t find that part number. Just the name. Do you have any knowledge of this part?? I appreciate it in advance

If you need parts, obsolete or not, I can look up the numbers, then search for them on two online websites to see if anyone has them. Then will post the part numbers, sources that have them.
If the parts are still available, I will list the MSRP and the FTE member discount price offered by sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM (Ed Olson, parts manager of Horizon Ford in Seattle WA).
I've been doing this jazz on FTE since 11/04/2006. And, btw: One of the parts locator sites is only accessible to FoMoCo Dealers.

I need the AXLE code to determine the weight of the front axle. Does your C700 Tilt Cab have manual or Power Steering?
AXLE code stamped on the 2nd line-far right of the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch.

Do you really need the tube, is it bent? The reason I ask is...you can buy the tie rod ends (3A130/3A131 in pic) by themselves.
They thread into the tube and are retained in place with clamps.
Bill, he asked me about the one I have on my 68 C-800
I'm guessing he's talking about the arm going from the steering sector to the steering cylinder.
Do you have a pic of those parts.
