How hard is a dually to single conversion I found a pretty sexy 88 crew long box 250 red rear wheel 7.3 idi 2500 Canadian And I really like duallies but my wife hates them and I don't ever ever tow but they are easier to find crews
Fab the floor board eh hmm Is the RTO610 a practical transmission or is it a shot load of shifting what transmission can I get up to without switching to a second level 7 speed ?
My father inaw has a westernstar with a eaton fuller 16 spd I shot a brick lol
the RTO is a great trans, and bolts right up, no real surprises. Next step down is a 7 speed, but a lot of those arent too strong. The FSO series of 5 and 6 speeds are good.
Well my only question is fuel comfort and ease of shifting and speed shifting you still say the RTO610 ? Cause I like it so far also you said the 466 has better road manners so how will the 360 be at 600 hp daily and what will my fuel be like
Fuel? well, the less you use per mile, the better your mpg. Idle quality can suffer when the power gets up in the high end. That's why the 466 was a little better with the wild hp ratings. It's kinda hard to explain.
At 600hp or less the 360 will be easy enuf to handle, in driving-manners.
What about 1000 hp I heard it's cheaper and faster to make 1000 hp with the 360 than making 400-600 and Dale how old are you ? I'd guess by ur videos 45-50
If you're already buying a pump, injectors and a full overhaul, then sure it would make more sense to go for the most. I mentioned my age back a few pages....39. I'm weathered from working out in the elements everyday for 14 plus years.
I must have missed that hope I did not offend you and thx for the reply now I was on the pull off feed back look for the daily puller post I'd like your opinion cause the guys there said that the RTO610 might not be a great candidate
Something like FSO 5306. I cant remember the exact model numbers. I believe the fso is, Full-Synchro-Overdrive. Then the first 2 numbers are the tq rating, and the last 2 are the gears.
