I'm loving that. So no charge to upgradethe engine so it does not explode. I'm not buying an engine yet but when I do it the guy to talk too and thats sweet I'm so excited lol can I get a Xfer case and tranny at pull off and is there a vehicle and year for those items I should look for ?

I doubt you'd find the trans or xfer case on pulloff. Better luck with craigslist and ebay. The Xfer, you can find almost anywhere, the best 4 wheelin stuff I've seen is on pirate4x4 and no specific year on either unit.

I still have 2 hours of work to go. Basically, just start collecting known parts(engine, trans, intercooler, etc). Getting the engine first will keep your motivation high.

A double car garage at least. I just have an engine, rear end, and a few other things in my garage, and space seems to shrink by the day.

That's the 6.6 Ford I'm building for my F100. There's not really a build thread, because it's still sitting in the garage. Once I get some real progress, I'll do a build thread.

The main reason is the Ford oval that's on the valve cover & intake. Kind of a kool factor. That way, I can keep it all Ford drive train. The 6.6, an Allison AT545(came in F6-800's), and a Sterling rear.

I was originally going to be around 300hp, but now it's lookin like the 500 range. Correct, if you want it for competition, the 466 is going to be the hot ticket. It would really help if you could see the 360 and 466 side by side, to see just how big a 466 is. It just means Diesel Turbo, not Detroit. Even though IH makes the Detroit Series 40. It's the new generation 466.
