My last tow. Friends 7.3 Banks 4x4 t-case broke a fork. Not the heaviest but one of the few "action" pics. Figure the truck at about 8,000lbs and the trailer is around 5-6000 (I need to reweight it, can't remember)
One other pic. Cedar poles, usually 2-300 poles per load, sometimes more.
Syco,
Been meaning to ask you about your clear front lights. Where did you get them? Are the headlights stock or did you replace them as well?
I've been looking at the diamond headlight replacement lenses, but I haven't found anyone to tell me how the light pattern is.
Thanks,
Jason
The clear signal lights came from LMC, the headlights are stock.
I was perusing Craigslist and seen an ad for 8 - 55 gallon drums 3/4 filled with used vegetable oil. I just had to get them. That's 360 gallons of oil. I havn't a clue what it all weighed. It did set the frame down on the helper springs.
Didn't think to take a picture, but I had 1.551 tons of crush 3/4 stone in mine today and she took it like a champ. She just was pretty slow going up the steep road I live.

Don't have any pictures, but when I had my 77 f150 I had a pallet of landscape bricks in the bed. The 400 pulled it nicely. You could barely get a hand between the wheel well and the wheel. With my current truck, with a 6 in lift, I have had a honda rancher 4 wheeler and pulled a 34 foot gulfstream travel trailer from missouri to south carolina.
Since we are on the subject of loaded trucks, i got a question. Does a lift kit lower the carrying capacity in the bed of the truck?
i dunno about that.probably those reverse shackle setup some do,would.
but at any rate,it sure does make it some hard to load stuff.
besides looks, lifts are pretty much worthless for a truck you would actually want to use imho.
i went shorter tires to lower me some after installing the dump bed.
im sure many people have made the mistake of lifts/big tires on their trucks that actually get worked and regretted it lol.
higher = harder to load by hand/steeper drive shaft angle results in weaker link for towing/fuel economy killer/loss of performance to turn the larger tires, especially if a gear swap wasn't done to compensate for the larger diameter.generally overall loss of traction because most go wider as well as taller, with the exemption of deep mud, where you would want to float.
nothing good comes from going up with a truck you want to use.just something to drive like a car is all i see 'em used for around here.sometimes i do 'em muddy,so at least they're having fun lol.i dunno how people can afford that stuff.

It all depends on the lift kit you buy. If the kit comes with blocks for the rear than you wont lose any load capacity. Some kits that use springs are softer and will not hold as much, but other kits have the option of using different springs to maintain your current capacity.
Not at all a heavy load, but enough to get stuck going from a dead stop uphill on grass lol.
I love and hate that trailer. I love it cus its a handy size, and you can fit some long stuff in it. I hate it cus you cant see it in any of the mirrors or out the back window unless its loaded like that.
Thanks for the answers. I don't plan on lifting my truck lol. I think she's plenty high with just the 33s on it. Most Id do is add a second over load spring. I just was always wondering how much of an effect a lift has on load capacity.

the lift doesnt have to effect your load capacity, if you use blocks then you dont change anything in the rear.
