A lot will also depend on spring rate. Give a spring manuacturer a call and discuss your needs.

Sitting on the floor they are 24''? They must be hella stiff springs, isn't a 6 inch spring supposed to settle about 20'' under a late 70's rig?

My 6 inch deaver's are almost 28 inches sitting the floor

Why would you need Flares for a BDMT?

How do you know you need cut outs ? I'd get it together first. IMO those things look like crap.

dillin, this guy has 4''susp. and 3''body with 44'' gumbo mudders. those tires measure a bit small(probably more like 40'') so with 12''s of lift and a true 44'' tire you should be free and clear of tire fitment issues. as long as your body is in good shape, their is no need for cutout flares. most guys use them to get rid of wheelwell rust. these old fords have big nice open wells that work good with big tires. here's the link for some reference

Ther is no such thing as retarded questions. Just retarded people asking them. :/flipoff

Seriously, there is only a top side and bottom (so the lower coil cups can mount up), there is no left and right.
