More good news!!!! My Headers, Hypermax pedistal and up pipes, all came in today. I'll take some pics soon. Everything needs to get re-ceramic coated again. You can tell they've got some age on them.
i wanna look at the pedistal. would that K31 fit that pedistal?? i don't know if an ASB would fit something like that or not. Is your hammer a sledgehammer or a BFH?? i finally learned the difference between the two. LOL. oh and one more thing.. workin' tonight or tomorrow night? probably tomorrow night.
DP-Tuner with custom switch. I asked Jody if he would call it the Death Row switch, but he didn't answer. LOL I'm the only person that has this switch setup to date.
Cody,
On Jody's behalf......heck yeah!!!!!!
Glad it worked for you.

Okay, here are the other parts that came in. Remember, these parts are NOT new. And came from the northeast. And I asked Joe not to clean them. Most likely I will have all these parts ceramic coated. We have a company that coats parts near us. So anyway, here are some pics.
I know we have a ton of axle pics, but this is what we spent the night on again. Right now the rear axle is tore up in Rockee, and I'm not gonna spend time outside on the sled truck till it's fixed........well, it's been raining on my weekends for 2 weeks straight and I don't have a covered area to work. So we are left to our devices inside the shop. So I finished shaving down and cleaning the Dana 80 for the sled truck. And you guys saw the gear oil, just imagine what was in the axle tubes......well, I had to get creative on how to clean the tubes out, hence THE WIRE WHEEL MOD!!!
Wire brush mod!!!!!!!!! and for the slower ones......we used a steel dowel and welded a wire brush on it so we could use the drill to clean the axle tubes.
And last but not least, clean smooth axle. Ready for gears and chassis.
why remove the sensor??? there isn't anything that the sensor will be hurting by staying in there. now the speedometer just won't work. just wondering the reasoning behind that as i see NO advantage what so ever.. haha
Um.....competition vehicle!!! No speedo, no gauge cluster with speedo period. Weight reduction, and less parts to break or get in the way. And that my friend is why you are #7 and not #1. SUCKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You bet Doug. I will have the whole gammot of gauges. But they will all be autometers and no speedo. LOL I'm actually going to gut a stock gauge cluster and install gauges behind the glass and mount it in the factory location. But that will probably only be oil psi and a few others. I'll have boost, and pyro on the pillar, and the big Autometer 5" diesel tach mounted on the dash to the right of the steering wheel.
