That what he gets for running a piece of crap dodge.
A big hunk of junk with a good engine and shat for a powertrain.
Ug, I hate dodge powertrains.

I kinda thought that might be it, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Keep up the good work!

List of Questions:
What is a Sledgehammer? (No, 'dumb' answers please... Travis, William, etc.)
How many miles on the engine?
What's your goal Horsepower/Torque?
What gears are in the D80?
What's a girdle? pics?
Any pics of a hood stack on an OBS?

I forgot some more questions that I had?

sledghammer is a 76mm turbo built by swamps. flows about 1500cfm of air and is very laggy and shouldn't be put to street use unless very large injectors are used(bigger than codys 238cc/200% injectors). cody will be able to spool it b/c he will have a sled behind him

not sure on his goal, but i think he will pull every bit of around 580hp from that setup.

a girdle is a piece of billet steel that ties all the mains together. use main studs for added strength as well. so it goes between block and oil pan and goes across all the mains to tie them together and strengthen the bottom end up.

there will probably be a pic of an 8" hood stack on codys sled truck before too terribly long. in the mean time Jim has a pic of his drag truck with a 5" black hood stack somewhere on his website.

the Dana 80 probably has 4.10's in it.

Phil, Travis did a good job for you. But I have a few things to add.

165k on the motor.
If I make 500hp, I'll be happy. The goal isn't the most horsepower I'm after, it's consistency.
The Dana 80 currently has 3.55's in it. Looking for cheap 4.10's as we speak.
It will be highly unlikely you'll see any OBS with an 8" hood stack. So be patient. But yes you can see a hood stack on Jim's OBS, but it's like 2 1/2" or something. LOL So I say if you haven't seen one, wait. It will be so worth it.

238cc/80% injectors with a chitty GTP38R will make 500hp buddy. you got plenty more air than that and will move fuel a lot quicker. haha.

can't believe that diff has 3.55's in it. not much point in putting 3.55's in a dually....

Dont forget its a d80, not sterling 10.25.

I dont know if the ring sizes are the same.

wanted to make sure.
So he didn't say yes, and have it be the wrong thing.

I think an 88 is a gen1 10.25 anyways. has a different pinion.
