My post of the day find: Since you're not towing that much weight and so you don't have to worry about fuel gelling up I would get a f350 6.2 with 4.30 gears. - Strokin-A-2010
We finally agree
Ok I've always said both served a purpose. He lives in Alberta, he doesn't tow much and only drives 20 miles a day. So going off what he said a gasser makes since.
I just got a call from NASA, they are bringing the space shuttle Endeavor out of retirement. They don't have time to wait on a Tundra(it took them all day to pull it a 1/4 mile) and they need something reliable, so the diesels out. They want me to pull it back to FL from CA with my 6.2.
I heard about some traffic jam in Florida, regarding the space shuttle and some fool in a gasser. So I fired up the Mighty Seven Three, hooked up the snow plow, and snuck in behind and started pushing. I think the guy in the gasser actually thought he pulling it!
I heard this story. There was a follow done later where we find out the snow plow was wedged onto the trailer and the 7.3 grenaded so the mighty gasser pulled both. The humble gasser driver then allowed the 7.3 driver to save face and think he pushed.

That was a Chevy gasser pulling a foam model. He left last month checking for clearance. I haven't made it to Florida yet. Spent the night in east Texas and overslept this morning. I'm glad you were able to push that Chevy and big chunk of foam with your 7.3 though.
Hmmmmmm............I think this thread is deteriorating to where I thought it could deteriorate no more, then deteriorated some more!!!!!!!!!!
LOL!!!! I had a 2011 F250 with the oilburning 6.2 gasser that really used NO oil. I thought it was a great engine and had plenty of power for a 3/4 ton, but it was just not enough truck for what I was doing IMHO, and went to the F350 DRW with the 6.7 PSD.
Some hondas do use oil. I guess it is part of the deal when you make over 100hp per liter. It hasn't bothered me any, they go forever, might be because of the upper cylinder lubricant?
I would buy a honda with a PSD in it! Would be the best vehicle on the planet!

(I wondered why I was getting 60 MPG as compared to my usual 45. )

Guys, guys, guys...I must insist that we keep the friendly poking of gas vs diesel here in this thread and this thread only. We can't be posting *****-nilly across the board like this! We have got to keep it compartmentalized here in this thread only!!
Please, I know this can be a topic that grabs ya by the short hairs, but please, keep it here and here only!
That's my PSA for today....

Hey I thought of a legitimate reason that a gas truck is better than the diesels.... When at a fuel station, they can choose from any of the 20 pumps, including blocking our two.

with 15 empty pumps, wondering why i'm clackety clackin behind them. Just another way the gasser crowd has no idea what diesel is.
