It's true-you just can't fix stupid. And someone here is showing the entire world how stupid they are.
I'm done with this ignorant crap.

To stockm yea I'm stupid. You don't have to beat around the bush you can say it straighjt to me. Sorry about the big picture yall. Only camra I have is on my torch and it takes big pictures.
Okay, time for everyone to take a breather here. Warnings have been ignored and everyone's been given a lot of latitude in this thread. It's going to remain closed until we decide if or when it will reopen.
After much discussion and consideration, Krewat and I have decided to reopen this thread on a trial basis.
From this point forward, the site guidelines will be followed and obeyed. So, in short, the insults, name calling, and trolling (among other things) stop now.
This is a technical discussion in a technical forum so post that type of information or don't post in the thread. Opinions vary greatly so back them up with facts.
Do the V10 and PSD 2wd excursion have the same drive shaft?
Not sure about the Ex, but my 2005 V10 driveshaft was different than my friends 2005 PSD. Both were CC SB 4wd trucks. The PSD shaft had a large weight around the back of the shaft that the V10 did not have.
O-have fun... talk technical...find out that both owners have passion about each of their trucks....and after all that is what FTE is about
Good point Tim. That's why this will never end up being settled. If I had a passion for a gas engine, I wouldn't own a Diesel and the same could be said for the Diesel guys owning a gas engine.
The engine we own is the best engine in the world. So, I guess we will never get the gas guys to understand that the Diesel is the better engine.
...and I have owned both...towed with both...and found each has its own qualities ......hard line views will be difficult to make this work
