Call me insane but I'd like to see a PSD done in that really nice pearl white color...when I was growing up we had an old Chevy camper special, it was a rust/bronze color, always liked that color too.
There are a few SDs and a couple OBS trucks here with pearl and they really look sharp
A friend painted a couple of them the reat I'm not sure of
Good morning everyone, hope that everybody has a great day today. Lisa, good luck today on the NEW job. Don't be nervous, you already got the hardest part done with the interview. Now I guess I will wait and see how the first day has gone.
Lisa, as Scott said, don't be nervous. I know it's hard not to be starting a new job and all though. At least you got an interview, I just go straight to the job.
Yea, but I can't stand the looks of the 99-04 I think it is F150. In my opinion they're some of the ugliest trucks Ford has ever made. I'd get myself a non-pink Wrangler before I got a 150.
At risk of being stoned to death, I tend to agree. I have never been a fan of the really "round" look. I think the new Tundras are ugly as hell too. I think it looks like a toad.

Hmm, Brandon I didn't know that. How many thieves know about this? I will have to try it.

Cool. I figured someone somewhere had done it. Its just such a feminine color, on such a masculine vehicle.

I'm sure it will be fine. They are all just as excited as I am I think.

Everyone else have a great day, I'm out the door.
Have a good day Mike. Feels weird to be "going to work" doesn't it?
Question on toolboxes: is it possible to replace the locking mechanism on a regular old like random brand diamondplate toolbox? I have my dad's old toolbox but the locks on it are all fubared.
I had to replace the locks on my tool box Lisa. It was pretty easy to do. I bought a set of weather rated cabinet locks from Lowes. I had to do a little grinding on the latch on the new locks to duplicate what was on the old ones but it worked out great. Very easy to do and low $$.
I hope that you and Mike have an enjoyable first day back to work!
Good morning all! I'm back at work for my last 9 days of employment.. woohoo!! or something like that... anyway, my current big job is to find an enclosed trailer for my move. I've passed on a couple deals locally in the recent past, and now I'm kinda kicking myself for it. Oh well, done is done. I want to get something ideally this week so that I can start packing the big furniture, etc. and make sure I can get everything in that I want. Fun fun.
They have not been coast-to-coast trips, but from Baltimore to Phoenix once (and back) and now when I go back to Maryland, this will make 5 roundtrips from Baltimore to Denver.... rough numbers... 21,000 miles just on those trips...
I am at home today on the DA list,I helped a friend of mine yesterday move some rolls of carpet and locked up my lower back. This is something new to me and it hurts like a MF'er.The tough guy in me ran like a scared little boy when this happend.
My wife even felt sorry for me and that does not happened to often.I have a 2pm appt.at the doc.I'll see what they say.
I haven't checked in a week so I have some reading to catch up on.

Back to work after a killer weekend for me. Yeah, it sucks but oh well, I've got bills.
This morning, I had to run into town to the Grainger warehouse to pick up some stuff for a project we are doing. I took one of the company rigs, a 2006 Duramax 4x4.
It felt like I was driving a car. No noise from the motor and very car like. I felt so, so, how do I say it? I felt metrosexual. Driving that thing gave me an urge to put on Docker's shorts, a pink polo, a pair of loafers without socks and turn up some Boy George.
I haven't seen many I don't like. I'm not crazy about the gold color..

Did the color of your truck put any weight on your purchase? I didn't pay attention to color when I was shopping, I just got lucky with mine...it really had no influence. I looked at an '01 dually and it was GOLD.
Hey! My truck resembles that remark!
J/K I was not fond of the gold color either but that is the deal I found so I went with it.
