Lemmie guess, one of those calendars the insurance agent sends out with their ugly picture on the bottom?
No they don't do that too much around here. It was an 07 calendar from the local concrete company.
Once upon a time a father told his son that the rear wiper on the pink Jeep Wrangler did not work. Well the son believed the father for a time. The son then decided maybe the father could have missed an electrical connection when putting the hard top back on. The son then went to try to diagnose the problem with the rear wiper. He hit the switch for the rear wiper without touching the electrical connections and it worked! The son then continued to clean the inside of said Jeep with WAB truck cab cleaner. While cleaning he found a hose clamped in with all the wires for the Jeep's top. The son looked in the hole that the electrical plug went in and there was a matching hose. The son got needle nosed pliers and pulled the hose out of the hole. Then he connected the two hoses and pressed the button for the wiper fluid on the rear window. He heard a sort of gargling as fluid filled the hose. It worked!
stick to it Joe, it gets easier every day.

My Mom sends her thanks as well, as was genuinely touched by the family we have here. It meant alot to her that so many were so thoughtful, and that I will never have words enough to use in thanking each of you.
Glad you made it home!

I've already started to plant the seed in the wife's head about new mods I want to do when I get back. Plus, with me re-enlisting out here and the tax free bonus, I'll be able to pay off the truck so for once in my life I'll have a truck that actually belongs to me!! I haven't read through all the past posts, but I hope everone is doing well and having fun, heck it'll be summer soon enough however not looking forward to the 120* heat out here uugghhhh.... BTW, Lisa nice new avatar. Either you're tiny or that's a big tractor!
Ya'll take care !
You take care! Good to hear from ya and good to know you will have your truck free and clear soon!
I have been looking for a Jeep for my wife. Are you interested in getting rid of it?
Not technically "my" Jeep. It's mom's Jeep and I don't think she'd want to get rid of it. Sorry.
One thing to do if you're getting a Wrangler of that area is make sure you have plenty of brake fluid and all the tools and parts necessary to repair brake lines. That Jeep eats brake lines like that's its job. Of course that is also in the salty northeast.
That Jeep actually has a long history.
It started life out as a nice little pink Wrangler. Apparently someone that rode in it was an electrician because there is an IBEW sticker on the rollbar. At some point it was stolen, taken for a joy ride, and dumped in a pond. Mom only had her minivan and getting around in the northeast without 4x4 is pretty difficult at times. We'd been looking for a Jeep for a while and dad found that one for cheap. He brought it to a local shop and had them do all the necessary repairs. (new seats, etc.) and now it's good to go.
Nice, I wouldn't want to get fid of it either. I have found several 2001 and 2002s in the price range from $9999.00 to $11,599.00. I am not sure if I really want to get into a payment with this economy.
