Later, Joe. I searched within 100 miles of your zipcode so my search was pretty broad. That's how I found my PSD. It was 99.something miles away from my zipcode.

I bought my truck about 110 miles away myself. Made for a nice long ride home getting used to her. However I had to drive a cc lb dually through Manhattan construction and that was kinda nerve racking the first time, my *** being wide and all LOL.

You can do it!! Whenever you quit anything, its always the first week that is the hardest.

I've never smoked...but you know everyone has their vice, so I can relate. My older sister quit smoking about 10 years ago, cold turkey..and she is kind of a wiener. If she can do it, I know you can too.

Well I'd much rather spend the $$ to do the bodywork on and repaint my PSD.

if you could paint your PSD any color, what would you chose?

I think if something happened, and I had a chance to repaint the truck, I might go black. Was thinking about that the other day.

Well my paint has a lot of little nicks, scratches, and chips so it is getting repainted when I have the $ to do it.

It is going to be midnight blue (or another VERY dark blue) over the stock gray like it has now.

It needs an 08 tailgate and a bit of bodywork on the right rear quarterpanel.

The tailgate looks like someone could've hitched a trailer and attempted to load it, but forgot to shut the hitch. It's got a crease straight up the center.

is trying to sell his PSD. That'll make for only 3 Fords in the family and only 2 PSDs.

I'll see what I can't get out of him for mods/spare parts, etc. I already asked him about his crossbody toolbox.

If I was to pick any color.... I like black on the F350 and I like the contrast of the white on the excursion. A nice dark green metallic is a good one for me...and red is good sometimes too. not many bad colors fro a superduty.

If I had to repaint my truck, she would be white, just like it is. I have really grown to like white vehicles! Specially when ya stick some chrome on em!

I see that a lot Pete...crease down the middle of the tailgate. My tailgate has some good dings in it too from the PO...makes ya wonder sometimes.

Question on toolboxes: is it possible to replace the locking mechanism on a regular old like random brand diamondplate toolbox? I have my dad's old toolbox but the locks on it are all fubared.

Did the color of your truck put any weight on your purchase? I didn't pay attention to color when I was shopping, I just got lucky with mine...it really had no influence. I looked at an '01 dually and it was GOLD.

Im sure its possible to replace the lock. You just have to do some searching! When I was doin the property management thing you wouldnt believe the different types/brands of locking mechanisms out there. Contact the manufacturer if all else fails! (if theyre still around)
