Just walked in the door from Austin.....man, what a night. They allowed only 2000 people into Stubb's last night. To see Metallica in a small venue like that (like I used to in the old days) was amazing.
I ripped a copy of the set list off of a monitor once they were done. They played:
Creeping Death
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Harvester Of Sorrow
One
Broken, Beat & Scarred
Cyanide
Sad But True
Sanitarium
Master Of Puppets
Blackened
Breadfan
Whiplash
Seek & Destroy
WOW. That looks like an awesome show. To see a band like Metallica up close like that must have been great. Hard to believe that they have been together in one form or another for almost 30 years.

MMM. Leinies! Good beer.
We had a dusting of snow on the ground when I got up yesterday. That sucks after you have seen some 60's for a few days.
Yep, I love Leinies.
Snow should be gone soon, it is warming up fast.
Figure out when you're doing the exhaust install? Need a hand? I have Leinies.

Sounds like you have a good day planned Joe. Good luck on the mods.
California is a great place to visit but I cannot imagine living there.
Imagine this, I work in downtown Los Angeles. I will tell you it is really different than any other place I have been. Now I am used to the traffic and the idiots ( you just learn to cuss alot).
Good morning Sheldon. Man, I was awake at 6 when Lynn got up to go to work but finally fell back to sleep. Woke up briefly when she left at 7:30. Woke up at 8:15 and thought "wow, I should get up". I was promptly up at 9:15. That felt GREAT to sleep in for a change! Did I also mention...mmmmm, coffee!
A California born and raised wife and one of my three daughters doesn't want to move to boring Indiana. Like it is so much fun here in California. All she does is work and then school. She doesn't drive, so she doesn't go anywhere. At least in Indiana she could be cleaning the chit out of the stalls for the horses that I want.
Ahh I see.
Go online and look at the houses in Indiana. Show her the mansion you can buy with the same amount of money it costs to buy an average home in California. You might change her mind.

I've never been there, but just based on the sheer number of people that live there..I say thanks but no thanks.

It will be different getting up early again. That first day of the alarm going off at 4:30 will suck though.

I could use a hand if you are offering. Have a shop? I will be doing it with the truck hanging out of the garage otherwise! haha
Plenty of beer or Captain if you want to come this way Mike. Of course I would supply both if you have a shop to work in.

I was only downtown LA once a bunch of years ago but it was not as busy as I thought it would be. I pictured more like New York City but it was more like a bigger version of Mpls.

You should move to Northern California. I am from California and not all of it sucks like SoCal. The northern part of the state is prettier and has friendlier people. The only thing that still sucks is the California laws and BS that you have to put up with.

I can relate. I was born and raised there and lived there for 36 years before leaving for Texas, sight unseen in 1999. I haven't even been back to visit since leaving.

I'm starting to get hungry and all of these iced down beer boxes are starting to look pretty inviting. Susan said I cannot start until 2 though...

I have done that. Believe this, I was looking at a house in Shelbyville (where I was born) that was 4 stories and 6000 square feet. It was $260,000. While I was looking at it, All I was hearing is "daddy, if you buy this house I will move here" and " Come on Babe let's get it and move here". Then I found another nice house in the country on 12 acres with a 8 stall barn, 6 car garage tri level beautiful house. All I could hear is "who would we talk to out here?" "If we buy the house in Shelbville, I would move, but not for this house" WTF! You know I didn't buy the 6000 sqft house, because I was afraid of the $500 heating bills in the winter. So, I live in California. Now my youngest, would move in a heart beat.

There is A LOT of beautiful stiff to see there. Get away from the metropolitan area and it is an awesome place. I would highly recommend visiting there. Yosemite Nat. Park, San Fran is way cool but obviously a large city and very crowded, Sequoia/Kings Canyon Nat Parks. If you like wine the vineyard region is great. And that is all more in the northernish area of the state. I did like that area better than the more southern areas.

I am offering.
I have a shop, unfortunately it still has a gravel floor. That will change once the ground thaws and it dries up a bit.
I just have the 2 car attached right now, CC LB truck barely fits in it though.

Once this baby is painted up we will work something out!
