I will.

I was just outside getting the mail/putting the tarp back over the wood splitter (it blew off I put bricks on the edges now) and prepping pinkie for his polishing.

That entailed pulling the spare off and pulling off a little bracket that was on it. Maybe 5 minutes of work.

I'm glad I pulled the spare off now though because if I was ever stuck somewhere with a flat I would've been in deep s**t. I put the ratchet on the nuts holding it and I was just compressing the drivers side suspension. I ended up taking a big ol lead bar that was randomly in our home toolbox and hitting the end of the ratchet with it and that freed it up.

I called dad and asked him to make sure he brings the polishing stuff home for me (it's in his SuperDuty) but I had to leave him a message so I don't know if he'll have it or not.

Hopefully he's driving the SD and not the beater because then he can't forget it.

Edit: Just saw your post, Mark. Awesome to hear that you're out of the hospital!

Plus every time you get to sleep someone comes in to take your vitals, or draw blood, or generally keep you from getting a good nights rest!

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

Gonna have to catch up on the other 24 pages I missed later!

Naw, never did the baby powder trick. I showed her the video and told her how she was almost a victim. I was told that this is what would happen.

The guys we let go today were all for poor attendance. With the economy the way that it is right now, you'd think people could should up for work and on time.

One of the songs the band played at our party this past weekend.

We were all singing along and throwing beer and then the cops showed up.

Perfect song....

Thanks for the tip Jim.

They have not been coast-to-coast trips, but from Baltimore to Phoenix once (and back) and now when I go back to Maryland, this will make 5 roundtrips from Baltimore to Denver.... rough numbers... 21,000 miles just on those trips...
Hey Brendan. Good luck with the impending move, and long drive, and finding a trailer, and everything else you have to do in the coming weeks.

Went well. Information overload today, but to be expected. My next task is to convince them that I am going to need a new CPU, lol.

Everyone is super nice, I am looking forward to a few weeks from now after I get the hang of things.

I wonder how Mike is doing. What about you Tristan, when does your new job start?

Well pinkie got her first treatment with a polishing compound. I washed my buffing cloth and it's drying right now and then I washed her. That was interesting since it's approximately 30 degrees outside right now. I got warm water from the kitchen for my soapy water and used the hose (very cold) for rinsing it off.

It's drying now and then I'll take another crack at it with the polishing compound.

Then if it doesn't improve at all from that I'll wash it again tomorrow afternoon and put a coat of wax on.

Edit:

Good to hear that you like your new job, Lisa! Do you mean a CPU or a whole new computer? A CPU is just the Central Processing Unit which is a little chip that sits on the motherboard.
