I've never had squirrel...sorta like dove, I never saw the point.
If I'm gonna go out and shoot somethin to eat, it'll weigh more than 100 lbs.
Aww come on Lisa, what about shooting turkeys, grouse, pheasent all less than 100lbs and are good to eat. And really fun to hunt.

To me they taste a lot like squirel
Our grey squirels are much larger than the reds. You mostly only see the reds way up north and there are no greys up there.
Best I could do on that one, have heard it taste like cat but won't go there
if the subject would have been venison I would have said goat or for duck, greasy turkey
Venison tastes like goat? I always likened it to really lean beef.

I spent most of the late morning & afternoon helping my buddy work on his '69 LeMans convertible. It's the first car he ever bought, way back in high school, about 24 years ago! When we started the project, the engin was in, but no carb or wiring hooked up, brakes were nonexistent, etc. - a heap. Now, engine & tranny are in, hooked, brakes have all new lines and are bled, and today for the first time in years (since he parked it) it cranked over.... I think in 3 weeks we'll have her fired up & running (we only work on it 1 day/week, if that). It'd be cool to get there before Christmas, but it hasn't moved under it's own power in ~4 years.
Now I need to take the pups out for their walk... in the rain... AGAIN.

I've been in on those kinds of projects. They're fun & maddening at the same time. But you know, there is not feeling like watching it roll down the highway after all the work is done and looks just as good as the day it was sitting on the dealership's lot.
Jon's not a racer, he's a cruiser.... fortunately! Otherwise, I'd be helping with transmission swaps much more often!! It'll be awesome to get it fired up, but we have some wiring issues to sort out, which are always fun... UGH.
