Well I'm a pretty happy guy right now. And no, Ed, it's got nothing to do with you.
I've been worried about the farm that I used to work at because the two brothers who own it had no will or any plans for it in case either one of them passed on. I envisioned a big family feud over it because someone thought it would be such a freakin great idea to develop a 100+ year old farm.
But the front page of the paper today bore the headline "State to buy development rights to 82 acre farm" with a picture of the old farmhouse under it and then the article.
Then in the article there was a quote from an individual representing the state saying how they're buying the development rights to make sure it remains agricultural land forever. I'm extremely happy right now. I still imagine there will be a bit of a squabble over it, but not anywhere near as bad as it would've been had they been able to develop it.
The one guy's kids I don't know very well, but the original Edmo on the farm there has 2 daughters. For one it would break her heart to see it developed. The other is a greedy woman who I can't stand.
Lisa, Cris, you ladies dissappear? (or have I just been out of the loop that much?
To everyone else I missed, hope ya all doing good!
Hey Sheldon. No still around. Like Jay said trying to take breaks from the computer. I had to get on Facebook to see that you got married!

Hey, it's Iowa. I just assume it'll rain, so I can be pleasantly surprised when it doesn't.
Hey eveyone, been a long busy day. Tomarrow it will be just as long, me and my dad are going to the John Deere dealer to get some stuff and then do some yard work.
