Well, work with G&B Solutions is DONE!!! SHADY *******S!!! So, last week, I emailed HR asking if my PTO was "use it or lose it"; they responded "We pay out no matter how you leave." SWEET!!! Until yesterday. I was trying to clarify the number of hours I actually had accrued over 2months of working there, when they drop this one "OH. Just noticed you're within your first 90 days. You get nothing."

WTF!! And people wonder why no one likes HR??!!! Yeah, ~21hrs of pay LOST... GONE.... yer screwed and can't do diddley.... oh yeah? I know plenty of people in IT and guess what they'll be hearing from me about G&B....

Anyway...

Lisa - I'll be in Erie. Nice little 3BR rancher with 2 CAR garage. My girl still doesn't get it that my truck is too big for a 'normal' sized garage....

Today it's going to be pretty nice, so I'm thinking that I'll give Nyx a pretty good "once-over", finish packing the trailer, then take her for a test drive to see how things move around & settle. Adjust as needed, and be ready to go.

I leave MD on Friday Jan. 22nd and should be in Erie by the afternoon of the 24th.

That's how I felt a couple of years ago when I found out that I did have a weeks vaction coming...after I lost it because I didn't use it. The vacation was showing on my paycheck...but my supervisor swore repeatedly that I didn't have the time coming. Needless when I found out this particular manager shafted me over my vacation that was the last straw and we parted ways. Lesson learned was to deal with the liars in HR. Who I hold at the same level as lawyers.

Raining here this morning (figures it would only rain on the weekend). Going to meet up with a buddy here in a little bit to scan the CTL on the Exploder. I guess after 10 years and almost no problems (tires, thermostat and routine maintenance)...my luck has run out with it. Don't get me wrong, it's been a great truck and I'd buy another one at the time when we did.

 

Just got done swapping header panels in Nyx. When I cut in my '05 lights, I cut a LEETLE TOO MUCH... and had to keep the driver's side light in with some zipties! Now, everything is bolted in PROPAH!!

I think I'll fire up Nyx for my run to Wally World, load up the pups, and scare the CRAP out of the general population around here. Everyone expects you to "give way" even when they are being idiots. Good luck pal. I'll have my dog poo on your backseat after you run yourself out of road.

Yeah, I'm in one of "those" moods right now.... and it's been a really good morning too!!
