Way 1 is it could be THAT time of the month, and your gonna take a bat to his knees for wanting that buick engine!
Way2 is that he could be in TROUBLE
Haha Im rooting for way 2 for him!
Way2, definitely. I haven't seen him in months.
He can have all the Buick motor he wants. He's a big boy, I don't control anything he does. My only two rules for him: Stay out of trouble, stay out of other women's pants. Thats pretty much it.
Well i am going to counter offer "somewhere in the middle" Leo. My main goals are to pay the truck off, and maybe have a few thousand extra I know I'll need some cash to get moved.
Yes, but it really dies over the weekend. I'll bet if it was a rack of ribs driving that truck Scott would have gotten a phone number at least. I think it was neat that Jacob even had the wits about him to think of mentioning FTE. I ain't gonna let Scott forget this for awhile.....LOL
Seven minutes to closing and I get to go home for the weekend.
I have a project that needs to get done and the weather is cooperating. Supposed to be nice and sunny on the weekend for a change here in Seattle.
The project involves rebuilding the sideboards on my utility trailer that I use for hauling trash to the dump.
Last week I was pulling it and the trailer hit a big bump and somehow tossed the entire sideboard assembly all over the road. Thank God nobody was hurt.
This time it will get bolts through the bottom of the stakes so that there is no way for the thing to jump out.
So I will be off line all weekend doing carpentry work and then painting it. Using marine grade plywood so it won't ever delaminate.
.
Everyone, have a good weekend.
You too Dan. Scott, Scott, Scott, Scott, Scott, WTH! Card has been pulled until further notice! Around my area you just dont see the ladies in trucks like that.

So for those of you that have seen my video of destroying the house with the truck, here is what I replaced the crappy lean-to with. Remember I'm a General Contractor, so I really cant help it. The redneck in me said destroy it, and the business man in me said build it bigger.
I'll sell it from afar. You're in CO, I'm in MO...it's gonna be a close race. I just got my recovery file for the truck, so she's no longer top speed limited.
Oh, and I don't care if she's single or not. I can take care of that when I get there. Just gotta get there first.
See you down there.
I've already got 4 fresh cans of diesel in the garage, and I'm about to get an offer to go fulltime, so I'll be "forced to work 100% remotely" from a sick family members down in TX. No need to fight, I'll just wait 'til you leave and be there to comfort her...

I'm sorry I am bringing this up, but yesterday someone posted some incorrect information about the muscle car era and it's been bugging me ever since. I don't know who posted it and am not going to go back and look. But there was never any such animal as a 302 CobraJet. It came with a 428 only. Now y'all keep in mind I am suffering from Oldetymers disease, so there is a chance I'm wrong, but in this case I don't think so.
No 302 CJ that I am aware of, but it was not limited to the 428. There was a 351 CJ in 71-73 Torino sports, and Grand Torino's, and prior to that the cobra jets were offered in 427, 428, and 429 powered machines. The 428 and 429's were also released with Super Cobra Jet versions.

Chrome tubes will look better, but no boards at all will make it look taller. Definitely ditch that plastic crap. The tubes are much stronger despite having two fewer mounting points.
Actually.....after staring at your truck a bit more, I think it would look best without anything under there.
This is what happens when you go work on your truck, you come back to NOT 3, NOT 4, BUT 5 pages of stuff to read I hope the counter offer comes though on the house Lisa, and go with option 2 its better than 1. As for the lawn tractors, just put a 7.3 in there and no more problems. You can mow your yard, the neighbors and maybe even get to the yard across the way before you know what happened. The wax job on the truck Brent
looks great, I would love to wax mine but its getting hard with the weather all cooled and all. Scott, all i have to say is, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" and "WHAT WERE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE THINKING!" o well I can understand. There is probably more I should say but I am still thinking about what I just read!
