Morning boys, A little chill to the air this am, but still single digit temps so we aren't complaining. Mama's 5.0 is hooked to the trailer ready to head out in a little bit. I'm excited.

The one horse I wanted to look at had someone look at him yesterday but that person can't come up with the money until the end of March. The owners invited me to come see and ride him this am and he's mine if it would work out.

Not me on the horse, but that is the horse I'm look at.

Going to go see him on the way to Regina to get the cows. There is room in the trailer to haul him back at the same time, but I think I would sooner make another trip...maybe.

one of le cows. The 2nd should look pretty much the same.

Very sad to hear of more tragedies indeed. I will often ride quad without a helmet also, but similar to Morris, I am in a clear state of mind and fully aware of what's going on around me. Been on derbies where guys start out sober and safe, buy 1/2 way into the trip their helmets are strapped to the atv and they're riding with one hand on the bars, one hand holding a beverage. A local contractor was killed on one such occasion 2 falls ago. I didn't care for the guy, but that doesn't make it any more ok. His daughter was passenger with him when the bike rolled. She got beat up a bit but survived. He was dead.

Hey Gerry, nice of you to stop in. Hope you're surviving winter ok down there.

Yes boys, sex and pizza are the answer to all your ailments. My wife and I don't eat pizza often so we have to compensate with the other... I'm so healthy I can't believe it.

Have a great day guys!!!

Good day folks.
I think the excavator crossed the ditch on it`s way into the field but sank in the mud.

I thought that it was a very weird place to cross, a low spot in the ditch beside a fairly big slough.

It`s hard to imagine sending out a green horn on an big and expensive machine like that but it certainly looks to be the case here.

I`m sure you are right on that John. Two heavy tow trucks for 6-7 hrs, a large track crane plus two large pay loaders for 8 hrs, a large load of base gravel plus pavement repairs in the spring won`t be cheap!

Morning boys. Morris, u should have just jumped in the cab and walked that hoe out of there. No doubt the original operator is feeling a little ill now. Hopefully it was the owner of the business and it won't cost anyone their job. Unless it was a DUI or something...

Looks like the temps for this week have went up a bit! No low teens now, just lower single digits. I'm happy.

Have a great day guys!!

Good morning folks on a cool and cloudy winter day.
It would have been play with that hoe Sherm but it might have tipped right over. I don`t know if all the blame is all on the operator, the company did send him out there.
It is nice that the temps have moderated for this week, we`re into Feb and a little closer to spring.
How are the temps in Ont John?
