Good evening John and everyone here, hope this weather holds. Truck parts out of the US sure have gone up when you account for the exchange alright. I would like to order some parts for my Fargo but the price is just too much to handle right now. Don't let the little wife go Sherm! My wife teases me all the time about getting rid of my horses but it is all just in fun too!
We attended yet another funeral for a neighbour today, it does get depressing.
Thanks for the info on your brake kit John, seems a bit cheaper than what I paid last spring when the exchange was better.
Don`t get into trouble but stand your ground Sherm...
Be careful Grant, meds can get habbit forming.
I`m afraid we`re stuck with this crazy exchange rate for a while now Bridgeford, I`m going to do a lot fo improvising or lay really low till it straightens out.
Well doesn't look like that brake booster arrived today because I never got a call from the vendor, I hate dealing with that outfit in the states known as CPP, they are as slow as molasses when it comes to sending anything to Canada. Looks like it's going to be awhile for me to make any progress, may have to go sit in the shop to see if I can come up with a different plan...
That`s a bummer. Mid Fifties shipping was just a little bit slow but really not bad. They did charge me about $173 US for shipping and handling...if I remember correctly which is a bit doubtful.

I don't think I have to worry about her leaving. She is an amazing woman, and her threats are in jest...I hope In reality she quite enjoys the animals for the most part. I usually get a couple texts and pictures every day of something new the animals have done, or something goofy they are doing. While she says she doesn't have much interest in riding a horse right now, I won't be surprised to get a message with her a few miles away from home on my horse...

Sorry to hear of your neighbor Morris. I just had a good chat with one of mine. It had been a while. Too long. We have good neighbors and I wish I could keep in touch with them more often.
I stand my ground and push my limits...but thats how a relationship grows right? You never know how far you can go unless you push for it
I dearly love my wife, she has put up with a lot of my crap, and not very often has she kicked up a stink.
Its a chilly night here John, and a little chilly for tomorrow. G'night boys!!
I know you too well to expect other wise Sherm.
I don`t keep in touch with relatives, friends and neighbours like I should and this is real wake up call.
Morning boys. Not as cold out as it spoke for so far today. I'm ok with that. We're working outside wrapping a house with insulation and new siding. May have it completed today.
Morris, I think most of us are alike in the fact that though we think of others often, making the effort to contact them and keep in touch is often too relaxed. While texting isn't as personal, our one neighbor that we got our sheep from is fluent in texting and we text back and forth a couple times a week. Though perhaps its less personal, it still satisfies a little chat and contact between friends. Our north widowed neighbor usually keeps to herself and enjoys her newfound solitude. I usually run over there to clear the driveway if we have a snowfall, she is always grateful. Our neighbor to the east stores his grain in our bins and farms the rest of the quarter we are on so we see him a lot more in spring/summer/fall.
Well, over the hump of another week, hope everyone is enjoying their week and looking forward to another weekend!! Have a great day guys!!!
Hope everyone is happy, healthy and wealthy on this fine Thursday afternoon.
Agreed that exting is less personal Sherm but it`s better than not keeping in touch and for me it usually leads to a phone call.
Stay warm John and Grant.
I came across this sweet 65 coupe while buying a set of used SBF aluminum heads.
Evening everyone, one more day left. (Insert happy dance here) Sherm, my wife says she doesn't like cats but, I've seen her scratching his ears and now he is lying on her lap while she watches tv.
I hear you about the dollar, I have put a few projects on hold myself this winter. I really wanted to a few things for my 50. Still have a few things I can do.
Morning boys. I see a + side of the thermometer is in store for the weekend. This is almost scary. My only hope is that summer doesn't end up being as unseasonal as this winter has been.
Finished our job out of town yesterday. On to start a full bathroom reno this am. We have 2 of them back to back. Not my favorite thing to do, but it pays the bills...
Good luck with your stateside truck parts boys. If it was me I'd be waiting till the dollar got better. It seems that even if you find a Canadian supplier you still end up getting raped because the Canadian supplier had to buy it from an American wholesaler anyway. No win.
