Morning boys... A little chilly but in the teens and climbing so we'll accept it.
Sounds like you got the deal of a lifetime Colin!! You could go buy the matching 8mm wrench and have the whole set for $110. I like Canadian Tire for their sales, but hate going there and buying anything at regular price cause you know that right away it'll be on sale for 50-75% off.
Morris, the miniature Herefords I've seen have all been over $1500/each asking price. More if its a bred cow or registered purebred. Its somewhat market driven, somewhat supply and demand as the smaller breeds aren't as plentiful. I think a person would pay less per lb for a full size cow, but I'm not wanting mama to have to deal with a 1800lb moo-moo by herself. 6-700lbs should be easier plus they are known for being more docile.
Have a great day guys!! Spring is just around the corner No telling how far off the corner is though...
Morning boys. High of -2 for today. Lets put our hands together!!
John, did you leave some body parts at the supermarket in payment for your groceries? The cost of eating clean and healthy nowadays is retarded. Price of produce is through the roof. It angers me how you can buy pop, potato chips and chocolate bars for less than you could buy the equivalent weight in vegetables.
Finished a job yesterday, so a nice easy day today. Do a couple quotes, then take the afternoon off to do sweet nothing. Maybe work on the kitchen a bit or something
Happy Friday mornin'all. Finally the last day of a hellish week. We're busy outbound, but getting the trucks home is bad. Rate's are in the toilet, and there is very little freight coming home from anywhere. Have a great day guy's.
Good morning folks, nice to see our short lived mini heat wave on it`s way.
The smaller breeds interesting Sherm, how is the hay supply in your area? It maybe a bit short here after the dry spell here last summer.
How are things in Ont and Manitoba Grant and John?
The price of groceries is climbing and it`s hard to say where it`ll end, the more our dollar drops the worse it`ll get. It`s nice to export but importing is a different story.
Good morning everyone... there doesn't seem to be a shortage of hay in Ontario Morris, in the Dryden area there are stock piles of those big round bales. Maybe Grant could have them trucked out your way..
Cows can eat just about anything but, you have to be careful what you feed horses. The longer the bales sit though the less nutritional value they have.
I sure got lucky with the wrenches, just wonder why they were in the home section?
Probably you got lucky with the wrenches because they were in the home section....likely none of the ladies were interested.
Bedding likely yes but you couldn`t afford to haul bedding far.

Yeah I don't think wrenches and frying pans mix.
That would be pretty expensive bedding and cows aren't worth that much yet.
