It was sunny here today for the first time in a while. Talked to the fellow who is working on my truck and he is has replaced the exhaust manifolds and the exhaust. Luckily I had the manifolds and exhaust. Also needs to have the distributor changed which I also have a spare of and the seals for the PTO have been replaced. Just waiting for a carb kit and wheel seal.

I have too many memories of those pitifull dark days of dial up Grant.

It truly is a very summer like beautiful evening, I`ve waited for one like this all winter long.

I`m plating my 53 M100 soon but since it`s totally stock except for 12 V system I highly doubt I`ll ever do more than cruise around than Saskatoon which is only mere 10 minutes away. It may only see a few kms this summer but there will be lots of smiles while I`m driving or polishing it.

I don`t drive a lot any more and my main set of wheels will be the 2015 GT which I`ve put on 1,500 kms since spring. Also my 64 XL will need a bit of excercise once in a while too.

I could but since it gets driven so little and I`m carefully about how I drive it and where it`ll be up to next next owner some day. I have way too many irons in the fire, I mess with small old farm tractors once in while too, and not eough time to fuss over all of them.

I'm not sure I'll be doing another one either , it cost to much and now on a fixed income I don't have any extra cash. I'd have to get a real good deal on something before I'd ever consider doing another , think I'd really like to do a car if there was a next time..
