...and the crew cab section is one of the main reason's I joined. There is another website for older crews, but after months of not getting a registry email, I sought someplace to share my passion (and build); so ford-truck enthusiasts it is.
Is there a build section I can post my project too? My project is as follows:
take a 1978/79 f250 4x4
add a complete drivetrain from a 1997 f250 (7.3 powerstroke)
make it fit
make it run
resto mod it
Right now I am in the make it fit mode, almost complete as the down pipe and radiator are the last steps.
Do I post my build in this forum, or is there another spot I should post it?
Hi, new guy here
I have the opposite issue. I want the old stock tires and wheels for my '76 F250 crew 4x4 long bed
everything else is there. Having a hard time for some reason, finding out what they were.
FORD wont respond.
Recommendations?

I've come across 2 crews in 2 days. Neither of these are for sale, I just ran across these. The green one I actually saw in the woods a few months ago, about 80 miles from here and tried to talk with the owner, with no luck. Then I came across it at a local business. 400 w/c6 tranny
D44 Front - D60 Rear
In the middle of getting into cosmetics on the truck and really having trouble finding the outside trim for the rear doors. i know this is probably been covered somewhere else. Pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated
The pic shows the trim on the passenger side, but it pretty much missing all of it along the drivers side of the truck. However, as you can see, there are a few small pieces on the passenger side missing as well. When i do the trim, I want it to have all the new shine to it and to match. So I would like to get the whole set. No money for a full paint job or a restore, so I'm trying to find the small parts (trim and get the rust spots fixed) in the mean time.

Nice Truck. I looked at that last year when it was for sale. Owner stated it was originally purchased by Warner Brothers (I believe) as a film crew truck in the desert.
The pieces you are looking for I too have searched for. I could not find anything, so it is one of those deals (in my case) that I either need to modify other pieces or scrounge around craigslist and swap meets.
