Forget that Taco garbage. Tell us about man power being towed, that IH!!!
Also, the paint/stripes are boss. I love it.
Lastly, nice Husky liners. You can notch that spot apparently by the 4x4 lever to make it fit better.
I wish I knew more about it. I believe it’s a 72, we were able to get it to start after about 2 hours of trying, got it on the trailer and it immediately died. I guess it’s been in their family since it was new, and he just inherited it, so he is going to begin restoration. It’s pretty much all there, just needs a lot of work. If I ever have an abundance of time and money, I want to put a t444e in a late 60s/early 70s international crew cab pickup
Wow, trying to get the turbo off of this truck is proving to be an extremely difficult task. Gave up on Saturday due to receiving the wrong parts in the mail, and not having a 14mm swivel socket for the lower nuts on the up pipe collector. Got all of that off this afternoon. Then I got the front pedestal bolts off, spent 30 minutes getting like 3 turns out of the passenger rear bolt, and have to go buy a 1/4” drive 10mm swivel socket for the driver rear. Looking at how open the turbo itself is on this truck I never expected to have this much difficulty getting it out. After reading up on it, I’m just hoping I don’t have to drop the transmission
I think 3/8's and 1/4's swivels are the main ones. I ended up removing the turbo from the pedestal from the bottom using metric ratchet wrenches to remove and install to try and make it easier. This was the 4 bolts on the bottom from below the pedestal.
Main reason I'm going with a T4 in the future. The OBS turbo is not fun.
If you're planning on sticking with the obs turbo, take a look at the freakify mod in the sticky. Adam used the E99 stuff to make removing it slightly easier.

Removing from the pedestal is a good idea. Since I’m still pretty new to the platform I tend to just follow the typical instructions. I’ll check out that thread now for a good read before bed

Im missing some info on that thread, I did it with out documenting it or doing a how to thread, then some of the guys here asked to make a how to, so most of the info is so, so when I did it but most of the stuff is covered on that thread

after a quick read I don’t think I’ll be doing it in the near future. I have an EBPV delete pedestal now, and other than the bolt that is literally blocked by the EBPV it hasn’t been horrible now that I have the proper tools for the up pipe collector (just a pain in the *** to have a garage full of tools and still have to order tools TWICE for one job!). With a freshly rebuilt turbo, ebpv delete pedestal, up pipes, and the down pipes that were done by PO, I don’t see a massive reason to make the effort and buy the parts right now. I wish I saw this about a month ago when I was ordering all of my parts. But oh well. I’m just hoping I can get it all thrown back together on Saturday so I can have my truck back. With the wrong up pipes showing up from CP addict (unfortunately didn’t notice until everything other than 2 bolts were off) I didn’t make a crazy effort to get the last couple bolts apart last weekend. But now it’s been a week without my truck, and I miss it. I messed up my exhaust and rear driveshaft on the Tacoma my last trip out, so I’ve been driving a FWD Tacoma that dumps after the cats all week.

Man, that truck is so awesome. My ex inlaws had a 77 SII I fixed out at their ranch...SV V8 you time off No 8 cylinder! I retimed. Fixed a ton of small ****, bombed around all over. Thing even had factory AC (HUGE York compressor), clock, auto hubs, single speed transfer case, D44s, limited slips in front and back, Rallye paint, bucket seats, 727 trans, etc. Basically super high zoot IH vehicle. They were going to give it to me I figure as I was the only person that cared about it and could fix it.
Anyway, I will find this pic of an IH at the sled pulls. It is awesome.
Yes, we ***** up each other's threads here constantly.

I would be more disappointed if you didn't! I tend to B.S. a lot and the treads I start reflect that. That SII sounds like a fun rig. When I was in college I dated a girl who daily drove an LS swapped 1968 Scout 800. Her dad restomoded it when she was a kid. That was a fun rig. It had heated Corbeau bucket seats, nice Bose speakers, a roll cage, Scout II axles, atlas 4-speed, and 35s.
Drill and tap for brass barb? I think it's a common issue and people epoxy them in.
I’m debating it. Easiest and sketchiest option someone is trying to convince me of is JB weld. Then it’s drill/tap. Then new rad. Just don’t really want to drain the system and then not put a new rad in. Gotta look and see if there are radiator mounts under my IC piping. If there is, it’s a hell of a job to get it out
