Nice work Bob, Those are pretty much the garage doors we are looking at. We probably won't go with windows on the doors. We will see what they cost.
The only other difference is the color. I think this is the door panel we are going with
And the wainscot will be a grey as well to more match the house.
Oil stains will be on their way. Although, with the steepness of the driveway I won't be parking the truck there.
Joe, I converted my old plain garage door into a fake double carriage house door by adding fake Mullins in the windows, putting a piece of moulding down the center vertically, adding fake hinges and fake handles. The carriage house light was on super reduced rate at the local lumber store. I lucked out there.
Bob, we missed you at TS. You too, Joe. We hope next year you and Michelle will be doing better, and possibly up for another adventure.
Jim
Thanks Jim. This year stunk, at least the last quarter. I'm sure both of us will be in fighting form by the end of the year. Chelle's doing pretty good, way short of 100% but a lot better than when I first saw her in the ER.
That"s great Bob! Now we'll just have to stand by and wait to see how closely Joe and his wife follow your vision. I've learned from experience that it's usually not a good idea to ignore advice you get on the forum.
HEY!!!! My truck doesn't leak that much! I burn all my oil (Cylinder #4 I'm pretty sure).
I sent the picture, before the oil and flamingo's (she might like that idea). She said we need to replace the window with our barn quilt. It is currently hanging at our daughter's house (my wife's parents old house)
I will have no say on the types of lights....and I don't really care....I will be inside most of the time.
