I would pass on the peg board. the cost of the board and then the hooks you need is pricy. For me, hanging tools use 1/2" plywood and put screws, nails, whatever, where ever you want it. Not quite as "neat" looking but it is a shop.
36’x90’ Back half of the building is 2 story with a large room upstairs. We did a deck off the back. Side has a 16’x16’ slider door and a 14’x16’ overhead door 2 front doors 10x14 Side walls are 16’
Would you happen to have any other pictures? or plans for this? This is exactly what I Was looking at building, size wise. on a piece of property. Thanks in advance!

I was actually thinking about that. Then screws, nails, and screw in hooks might cover me. I will have to ponder that.
Kevin, I had to zoom in the last picture of your shop. It's not a ufo, it's a blimp. Cool.
With the weather today, I'm wondering if we got transported to Florida. It was 70 degrees today. So I did a little work in the shop.
I got all the outlets wired up and hooked two breakers up to the main panel. The first breaker went smooth. The second one popped the breaker as soon as I turned the main back on. So my son and I opened up all the outlets to look for any shorts. We found nothing there so we moved on to the handy boxes that split down to the outlets. Everything looked good there so we moved back to the breaker. I moved power down to another breaker and all was well. So I then moved that breaker up to the other position to verify there was nothing wrong there. All went well. So, it seems I have a bad breaker. It's brand new, grrrr. That's much better than having a short somewhere.
I also went to get the rest of my plywood paneling. The price has gone up $5 a sheet since I bought my first load a couple weeks ago. Ouch! I was in the store researching lumber pricing predictions. Everything I read indicated it would continue to rise through the first part of 2022, so I bit the bullet and got everything I need.....I hope.
The peg board is more but I like the flexibility. I used to do the screw/wood thing but eventually with changes you get Swiss cheese. The peg board can be changed at will.
just a thought , when doing inside walls , where you will be cutting , grinding and wielding . I used metal roofing sheets , instead of plywood , less chance of fire .

That's a big crescent wrench you have there. I'm heading to my parents tomorrow. I need to take a couple of pictures of my dad's pegboard walls

That's a good idea. We have been talking tin for higher up and on the ceiling. I don't do much grinding and I have a cheap welder, but haven't really used it yet. I need to learn though.
Pegboard.... when we bought our house in 1988 I walled off a fourth of our basement to use as a workshop. I bought a 4×8 sheet of pegboard for one of the walls. A few months later a store downtown closed. We knew the owners. I picked up many pieces of their heavy duty 4×4 pieces of pegboard. I have 3 in my basement, and 4 in my garage. So I'm in good shape in the pegboard category.
I did get one 4X8 piece of pegboard. I got it from Menards. The bin said both 1/4" and 3/16" and there were two thicknesses in the bin. Earlier I had a pick sheet created for the plywood and pegboard. When I was looking at the bin I wanted to make sure I got the thicker, so I asked them about it. they said that bin was where they would pull it from, so I went ahead and grabbed the thicker board That $x* sheet should cover me for a while.
I'm into peg board. A few years ago I was given a package of hooks and maybe a 2x3 ft board as a gift from one of my kids. That planted the idea. This is what it led to:
It looks cluttered to say the least, but I've gotten used to it and know now where everything is.
Dang Jim, that makes me want to get more pegboard. Not even close to cluttered, I definitely have to take pictures of my dad's shop to show you cluttered.
